Changes? Did Tomlin say anything of substance?

Tomlin promises changes. Will there actually be any noticeable changes in the product this Sunday? My guess is there won't be, based on past promises of change.

Well, the Phins gave the blueprint on how to beat the Ravens, blitz every play. So we will not blitz once . . . To outsmart them.

Does Tomlin ever say anything of substance ? There will be no change that will result in this team becoming a division contender. The offense, defense, special team, and coaches will be the same, so why expect different game results ? It's another big division game, but it's a big game for ravens too. I expect another bunghole type game.

I think he could start by benching Bush.

Five plays into the game, and Tomlin benched him. The only reason that Bush came back in was because Spillane got injured.

That… or, the benching revitalizes Bush’s career (a la Ike Taylor bring benched in 2006).

Blasphemy!........How dare you propose a positive scenario for a 23 year old player that is coming back from a major ACL injury.

You must treat him like Bud Dupree and note that he will never succeed in the NFL.

No, no, no. C'mon man a COWHER POWER benching had impact and gravitas. A Sunglasses Tomlin benching is just a nonsense move for a coach that has no ideas.

You know this. You're better than this.

Give Vince a ring and see if he wants to play.

ok, if he can’t perform because of his ACL tear shouldn’t this have been figured out at the beginning of the season through practice and training camp? Instead of throwing him out there and watching the team get gashed week after week? This is why I have little to no faith in this coaching staff

Yeah, maybe the felt that recovering Devin Bush was better than healthy Night Train Spillane? But as Vince eludes to ...."the team getting gashed week after week", is bigger than Devin Bush, but he is an easy scapegoat for the media and fans.

Still, does giving up on a 23 year old player coming off a substantial ACL tear make sense? Does D-bag on sports writing an article singling him out make sense, or is it just clickbait from a media hack trying to manufacture a hot take? I am still not sure why some people take the bait from these lousy hacks with a podcast, or blog.

I wanna see what Buddy can do. Vince Williams started as a R6 pick and called the defenses in his rookie year, so next man up

considering they’ve been benching Bush for Spillane shows that maybe they swung and missed on that pre season evaluation. They seem to be making a lot errors in their evaluations lately

I agree on the media reports, a lot of it is hearsay and rumor - not fair to the players. There is a lot of misinformation out there in the sports world - if there is responsible journalism it’s hard to sift throw and find

there is injury issues that keep a player from performing up to standard and then there is standing there doing nothing , two completely different things ... you will NEVER make a play you first do not attempt to make

He wasn’t always like this though. There was a time when people thought he was the real deal and he performed like it…then he got injured.

Re: Changes? Did Tomlin say anything of substance?

I would never use Bush as the scapegoat, nor should anyone else, because the whole team looks like crap currently. That he might be the crappiest is just incidental, and fixing or replacing him won't matter all that much, though he definitely needs fixed or replaced.
