PG writers and their hot takes

    From today’s Q&A with Dylan:

Gerry Dulac: Hey there....yes they can. They can win 10 games with Mason Rudolph. Still not sure about Haskins being a long-term solution, but I will tell you this -- he will be given EVERY opportunity in 2022 to be the No. 1 QB. There will be no trade or free agency moves.

The PG writers moan all the time about the hot takes of the national media, but the constant arrogance of the old PG writers is more annoying. They constantly write about WILL and WON’T happen. It makes me take note because I’ll count on them to sign a QB via FA next year now. These guys know nothing and they’re never accountable when they’re proven wrong.

I think we will draft a QB early.

If we draft a QB for need we very well may get a “Troy Edwards” like QB

Even though he's no longer with the Post-Gazette, Ed Bullchitte has been mailing it in for YEARS now. Even worse, he's a HoF voter...

One way to hold them accountable - stop reading. Don’t read their stuff. Don’t follow them on Twitter. Don’t comment on their posts.

Even hate clicks count. Their views go down and they might get pushed out.

    The clickbait sportswriter cycle:

A clickbaiter makes up a story and passes it off as speculation (nothing creative, usually "____ will coach here _____" or "_____ wants to be traded") just to get clicks and views

Other clickbaiters regurgitate the story to get their own clicks

It's proven to be completely fabricated

Clickbaiters write articles about how what was completely made up is indeed not true after saying it was

Like him or hate him as a coach, one this is for certain: Mike Tomlin is the undisputed press-conference champion of the world.

Andrew Fillipbologne has made his whole " career " doing this BS ..He makes up a scenerio and regurgitates it over and over and over again...Until you can't do anything but reply!

And that’s enough about that for now and the future.

There’s something about this that makes me happy. Not just that Ben has a sense of humor but that he knows that Tomlin does too. Hard to see a QB having that kind of relationship with Bill Belichick.
