Liz Cheney headed to New Hampshire in November, sparking 2024 speculation

In a move that will spark speculation about her potential national ambitions, Republican Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming will headline an awards dinner later this autumn in New Hampshire, the state that for a century has held the first presidential primary in the race for the White House.

Cheney, one of the most well-known and vocal members of the small group of GOP lawmakers and leaders opposed to former President Trump, will be the featured speaker at the annual Nackey S. Loeb School’s First Amendment Honors program on Nov. 9. The former president and his allies have backed a primary challenger to Cheney when she’s up for reelection next year as Trump aims to oust Cheney from Congress.

Yeah, its too bad because she could win back some of those voters that are traditional Republicans and Libertarians, who now dont identify with the radical right. She is they type of candidate that could take the anti-Left vote and more of the undecided centrist vote. Instead the GOP is going to go all in with a radical right candidate and lose again in 2024.

I dont have a party. I generally have conservative priorities with regards to lower taxes, private job creation, reduced debt, etc. So a candidate like Liz Cheney is somebody that I generally like.

But the GOP seems bent on promoting the agendas of Jewish Space Lasers, microchips in vaccines and militia groups storming government buildings. So they will again lose in 2024.

Trump is what normally would be called a political centrist. The woke left has just redefined "alt-right" to mean anything right of Castro and Mao. Ironic that those people could call anyone extremists and be taken seriously. But, repeat a lie often enough, and many will believe it.

I don't know what her record is beyond rightly pointing out Trump's anti constitutional activities but I never got the impression she was one of those "not-white people are bad" kind of rightwing politicians.

I tend to agree with her... though, in a more tactful way. You can take that how you wish, as I won't expound on it.
