    Week 3: Bengals

A very winnable game at home against a very beatable team. Nothing stands out about them besides the Burrow/Chase connection. There's Vonn Bell in the secondary and the Bengals D is pretty okay stopping the run. We've all had our ideas this week on what is wrong with the Steelers Offense. Cinci will duplicate the exact same scheme what the Raiders and Bills have done on Defense and Canada, Ben, whomever will have to figure out a way to beat it.

    24-13 Steelers.

    Re: Week 3: Bengals

I guess it depends on the health of some of the defense, foremost. And secondly, can Canada draw up an NFL game plan?

If those two check the box, then I’ll go 24-16 Steelers.

Making win predictions hasn't gone well for me so far, so: Bengals 23, Steelers 17

    Re: Week 3: Bengals

We should be able to get a W here. A lot of injuries still, but if we can get Watt and Bush back, our defense should be able to hold. I keep reading the OL is pissed off after last game, hopefully they come out and open up some holes for the running game this week. 19-10 Steelers (I have Boz as my fantasy kicker, so I want 4 FG from him lol)

I could see Bengals jumping out to 14 point lead, Steelers come back and win 27-17

This one is going to be a tough one. If they win, it will be from not just one player, but a unit, really stepping up. I don't know if they have the horses to do this, even without the injury bug going around. But it would really, really help the season to win those AFC North games, ready or not, so I hope they find a way, even though the team is clearly a WIP.

Steelers if Watt is healthy and playing, if he’s not and we can’t get pressure on the QB can we keep up with anyone with this offense?

Got to start to see improvement from the o line as well

Ben will be mad with all the talk of him being done (Mad Ben is a good Ben - like a mad Kobe was a good Kobe). Line will play better.

Watt, Bush and Haden will stifle the bengals O

I would not play Watt. Let him rest up.

With Watt and Highsmith out. I’ll up my Bengals score to 38-13.

We'll probably see a whole lot of Jamir Jones and maybe Derek Tuszka.

On another note. 20 seconds left in a 2 score game and they run a play with DJ and he gets hurt. SMH.

What I find entertaining in the Game Day Thread is folks predict the Steelers are going to lose the game, but then bitch the entire game when they fulfil their prediction.

Yeah…I’m constantly pessimistic. When I’m optimistic, they make me look foolish. Lol.

    Ingram Yes.

I don't think it's Taco Sunday yet. He is still on the practice squad.

If I were diagnosed with a terminal illness I’d acknowledge the reality of it, but that wouldn’t stop me from complaining as the symptoms got worse.

I don’t see any inconsistencies with expecting the worst and then hating every minute of it as your expectations are fulfilled.
