    Who would have won a neutral-site game in the New Orleans Superdome: The 1998 Minnesota Vikings vs. the 2001 St. Louis Rams?


    The 1998 Minnesota Vikings had a 15-1 record and led the league in scoring with an average of 34.8 points per game. On defense, they gave up an average of 18.5 points per game which was sixth best in the NFL. The Vikings season ended with a loss in the NFC Championship game at home to the Atlanta Falcons 30-27.


    The 2001 St. Louis Rams had a 14-2 regular season record and averaged a league-high 31.4 points per game. On defense, the Rams yielded an average of 17.1 points per game. The Rams lost in the Super Bowl to the New England Patriots 20-17.

    The 2 teams are otherwise similar with legendary firepower on offense and also good enough defensively I think I will use postseason exit as determining factor. The Rams lost to the Patriots who were using illegal taping at the time while the Vikings folded against an inferior Falcons team they should have beaten
