I found this article completely lacking in anything substantial. But it does offer some thirst quenching talking points during this drought season for anything football. According to the article there may be all, some, or none of what it mentions, but at least it's Steelers football talk.

The one thing I have questions about is the use of a FB. IF using a FB means removing a WR or TE is it worth it? Nothing against D.Watt but I think I would much rather have the offensive playmaker out there to at least give the option of something other than run. Maybe the FB is pivotal in the Canada offense though? I feel like most of us are thinking more along the lines of 2TE sets and pulling OGs in the run game with this personnel. Thoughts?

Agree. I’d be happy with a solid blocker. Jon Witman was a solid blocker as well.

Watching some of the 'breakdowns' of Canada's offense there are a lot of guys going into motion. Several plays have multiple pre-snap motions with players swapping places or moving inside-out and a 2nd guy moving to the vacated spot, or some combination similar. I'm wondering how much of this is exaggerated(for full defense) or maybe looking at 1 defender to relax his stance before the snap. Then the ball goes right at him once he's caught flat footed.

You listen to the talking heads and 'experts' claiming they have no idea what to expect from the Steelers offense this season under Matt Canada. Last season was so predictable everybody was calling what play was coming next. This season seems to be the exact opposite, at least this early on. Less than 3 weeks now from the beginning of TC on July 28th and my brain is getting antsy for football to talk about. Next step is TC to talk about obviously.
