    UDFA Wish List

This is always fun...make a list of the guys we all think are just so oozing with NFL talent that even though they didn't get drafted 7 times by all 32 teams...better rush out and sign them!

    Josh Imatorbhebhe WR
    Charles Snowden LB
    Justin Hilliard LB

    Ar'Darius Washington DB
    Jamie Newman QB

Unless there is a reason not to, I would like them to bring in Newman. I was a little surprised he wasn't drafted at all.

    Re: UDFA Wish List

I’m not a big college guy so I don’t know these players. Are any of the free agent LBs we signed edge rushers?

I’d think the undrafted edge rushers would flock to Pittsburgh as there is roster space available for at least one of them.

Sean Gilbert's Nephew and Darrelle Revis' cousin.

He was a top CB prospect until injuries derailed his career.

    Pretty cool.

Apparently the Steelers printed out a list titled “Shit Mike Hilton Did on Defense” and then signed every darned UDFA that seemed to fill out that list.

I'm good with that list. Wouldn't mind if they had a list that said "Shit Bud Dupree Did on Defense" and worked off that.

Isaiah McKoy is a fun prospect. Kent State WR that is a big play guy. Good size and speed. His career was a highlight film. I think he has a legit shot at least to make the PS. Maybe even the 53.

I don't know what that says. Not being flippant, I honestly don't know what that chart says. McKoy is a player though, I do know that.

Reading further into this kid and maybe he's not so hopeful. Has a lot of drops apparently, which was a huge problem for the Steelers last season. Don't need more of that. And he's not really known for his blocking effort either so he may not work out on ST either if that's the case. I remember looking at the Kent State QB stuff,(started on here by another poster btw) and McKoy kept popping up in plays so I started looking at some of his stuff. There wasn't much so didn't take long. From what I saw I liked him as an UDFA, which is why I posted that I liked him. Looking this morning at some more recent stuff that has published since, maybe not as much. I know that chart is an athleticism chart, so if he has low athletic scores, drop issues, doesn't block well, I'm not gonna be as excited as initially.

I think he's a great pickup. I couldn't believe he wasn't drafted. The dude can play, and he's tough as nails.

I thought he would be gone by the fifth round.

I heard them talking about this just this morning.

Supposedly, when Newman transferred to Georgia, he wasn’t “given” the starting job; he was told that he’d have to compete for it. Newman’s response was to “sit out” the season. Some GMs felt that Newman had used COVID as an excuse to “cover up” a tantrum.

But, of course, who really knows.
