Being an NFL GM requires the ability to say a lot without actually saying anything that would give out useful information to be used against you.

    Some things I noticed.

    1. Colbert stated that there is a plethora of OCs in this draft. As I have mentioned in numerous threads, the Steelers will WAIT... and draft an OC in R2.

    2. It sounds like they are locked in on a few guys, and if those guys are not there, they will try to trade down.

    3. They are looking for an ILB who can "cover" and/or has range. JOK at 24 would not surprise me in the least.

Could very well be but I don't think that will happen(trade down). What it sounded like to me was all the work is completed before draft day. Seems like they have X-number of guys rated for each round and they pick which ever guy is available on their list at that round.. And as Tomlin said Art is the boss. . So as we all know BPA R1-7 except for TE's. They have a placed reserved at R7, a Steeler tradition.

I think there is a distinct possibility that a few Steeler traditions may change this year.

I’m almost to the point that if it’s not Harris, I may feel a little disappointed and I’m not really a RB in Round One kinda person...
