Texans Release Pair Of Veteran Offensive Linemen Who Could Interest Steelers

In what is sure to be a trend around the league up until the start of the new league year, the Houston Texans have made a pair of veteran offensive linemen cuts. Both of which could interest the Pittsburgh Steelers. Earlier in the week, the team dumped swingman Senio Kelemete. And yesterday, they cut longtime starting center Nick Martin.

That puts another OC needy team in the mix. The Texans are really not being very nice to Deshaun Watson though.

I think the Texans are going into complete rebuild mode, I won’t be surprised when Watson is gone.

I wouldn't count on the Texans acting rationale. They're careening towards sole position of "worst run franchise in sports".

I think they went into first place the day they traded DeAndre Hopkins and didn't even get a 1st round pick for him.

I have stated for a while that the Steelers would sign Austin Reiter as a stop gap (Colbert does not enter a draft with any glaring holes) until the rookie OC is ready to start. It could now be Nick Martin.
