Defense kinda matters and "tackle the catch" doesn't really work all too well in the postseason...
Indeed, I read somewhere if the QB's in that game would have switched teams, the buc's would have still won but with many more points.

Brady is a nut job. He is still feeding off of his R6 pick. What is going to be his motivational drive in life after football, his r6 pick?

Let's not forget that in the Super Bowl one of his "Golden Child" quarterbacks was on the other side of the field from Brady, had a passer rating of about a Blutarski after three quarters, and finished with a QB Rating of 52.3 because of garbage time.

His own theory with two of his elite quarterbacks played out. Mahomes was terrible because he had no help.

Two of his Supreme Beings throwing the football in the same game...and one sucked.

Thankfully, a paradox didn't occur and the universe is still intact.......

    Context is key.

    Correlation is not causation.

But I think you don't learn that in grade school.

do you think the Chargers will let Staley out of the contract he just signed with them so he can switch over and become the Steelers' HC instead?

Word is they are installing a new offense. They are taking Herbert out of an offense he thrived in and making him learn another offensive system and terminology.

That could possibly blow up in their faces.

Sure he is a large human being, but he doesnt show the quickness of feet to redirect and stay with counter moves of the NFL elite rushers. Earlier in his career it was discussed that he should be RT or move inside to Guard. That normally isnt what you want in a LT. Now that he is coming off ACL injury, I dont know that his ability to handle a speed rusher converting an outside move to an inside counter move is what you want on the QB's blind side. Okorafor is much more athletic and I see an OT being selected in the draft as well in April.
True. It could just be Banner getting overly excited.

That said, maybe he is akin to Max Starks: only decent as a RT, but pretty good as a LT.

I dont think so. Max Starks was a better RT than LT. He routinely did not handle the counter move as a LT and was lazy with his punch. He only looked good at LT because the Steelers attempts to put a LT over there after Marvel Smiths back went down were bad in comparison. Trai Essex, Jonathan Scott, then eventually replaced by rookie 7th rounder Kelvin Beachum.

Banner's size and long arms are an asset on the edge, but his movement skills are not. He should be front side of the QB, so they can see when he gets beat by speed upfield and can step up in the pocket to evade the rush.
