Banner likely back.
Bengals working on a deal for Mike Hilton.
per Mike Garafolo
Hilton was a fun player to watch and root for, but I wouldn't want to be the team to hand him a four year deal.
Hilton can and will see continued success in the NFL, but I just think that he is primed for a drop-off due to either age or lack of scheme catering to his specific talents.
Hilton to the Bungle bitches sucks.
Hope we have a good draft
We need at least 2 starters, and 3 "starters-in-waiting".
In theory, we should receive a good amount of comp picks next year with all of these losses. That'll be nice.

At this point, wouldn't mind bringing back Wormley or Avery Williamson to get depth at those positions
I stated this in the JuJu thread (a thread which has now been deleted). It bears iteration. As far as free agents go...
Hilton: It hurts. Period.
Alualu: It hurts to a degree, but it was sort of expected.
Dupree: Very expected. We all knew he wasn’t coming back. It changes nothing as far as the draft goes; we were always going to draft (at least) a depth player.
Fieler: Expected, and doesn’t really hurt... because, Dotson is better.
Bince: It hurts (personally). But, I can’t say it was totally unexpected; we all discussed this as a possibility. He was never the long-term answer ... and, many of us were looking at ILBs anyway.
Olaqwerty: Yawn. We can find another camp phenom to replace his special teams contributions.
JuJu: It has been discussed to death.

If I understand the way that the cap works, teams have until today at 4pm EST to get their 2020-21 season under the cap. Some players were cut because they would cost money to simply be on the roster today (e.g. Adoree Jackson would have gotten a large roster bonus; so, he was cut).
The Steelers made a lot of cuts, cleared a lot of cap space... for what reason? If they extend TJ by 4:00, they can put some fo that salary into the 2020 season. Likewise (and this part I am not sure about) if they re-sign JuJu, since he was already on their team, they could put that money onto the 2020 season (I think).
Worst case: I expect a few restructures to occur today... putting money into the 2020 pot (and freeing up money for 2021 and 2022).

JuJu's Market Value is roughly $16M/year.

Avery Williamson's Market Value is roughly $7M/year.

AV's Market Value is roughly $16.5M/year.
I would be surprised if he got anywhere near that number (but there’s always a team willing to overspend). Seems like WR is where a lot of teams are cutting back in the salary department based off what has been handed out so far. As of now, Corey Davis’ three year deal is the cream of the crop.
And the Corey Davis deal is why the Jets will continue to be a bad team. Don't get me wrong, I like Corey Davis and think that in a passing oriented offense he could put up impressive numbers. But I can't convince myself that there was a big gap between Davis, Golliday, and Juju. So why would any team be in a rush to set the market? Like if Golliday signs for 20% less than Davis...
I think when you’re the hapless Jets you have to overpay just to get someone to come.
