If Stafford has performed as well as he has for a dysfunctional organization and perennial loser like Detroit, imagine what he could do somewhere like SF, Pitt or NE.

Jags - I think they are set on Lawrence with the 1st overall pick. Do they bring in Stafford(trade would include the stache) to mentor Lawrence for 2 years? I bet no.
Colts - Instant contenders with Stafford.
Texans - Makes the Watson situation interesting.
Titans - I think they have a good thing with Tannehill. No.

    Bills - No.
Dolphins - Have multiple 1st round picks.
Patriots - Maybe but no weapons and nothing to trade. No
Jets - Another team with zero talent around the QB. No

    Steelers - No
    Bengals - No
    Ravens - No
Browns - Now there's an interesting twist.

Raiders - Gruden and Mayock pull the trigger on this tomorrow if the Lions agree.
    Chiefs - No
    Chargers - No
Broncos - Very little to offer and no talent around the QB. No

Saints - Interesting transition from Brees piece. But no draft capital. No
    Buccs - No
Falcons - Stafford back to GA to finish his career? Has real possibilities.
Panthers - Interesting but just not enough around him there. No

Cowboys - Jerry has made worse moves.
WFT - Young team with promising talent.
Eagles - Too much money tied up in QB already. No
Giants - I think they love 'Danny Dimes' there. No

    Packers - No
    Vikings - No
Bears - ??? Would bet NO, but interesting still.

    Seahawks - No
49ers - This would be a very interesting move. HC/OC, and talent.
    Cardinals - No
Rams - I don't think McVay has quit on Goff. No

Question is draft capital and money. Of course Stafford would want to go to a winner, but the cost would be a major issue. While talent is important, I don't see him taking a huge discount just to have a shot at title. So Saints, Steelers, and the other cash strapped teams don't have a realistic shot. Other than that is the matter of draft capital. Now that everyone know he's going to get traded, the price automatically deflated significantly, so Patriots could be in play. While no weapons, playing for Belichick is tempting to any player, whether we agree with it or not. WFT has a good shot, Miami also(especially if the Lions like Tua), I think Jets prefer Watson more, and I wouldn't rule out Rams(I'm not aware of their cap situation) as a realistic destination as well. I agree that 49ers or Raiders would be ecstatic to have a shot at him. And I wouldn't sleep on the Panthers as well. I think a first rounder would do a trick as a compensation. Maybe someone offers more, like the Raiders did for Carson Palmer.
