Here the state legislature gave the local Repub party everything they wanted for election rules and format and drew district maps that were so gerrymandered that they were ruled illegal until they tweaked them enough that the court was like "LOL at least its not so blatant now".
Despite all that...they lost up and down the ballot because the local folks were like..."These folks are just awful candidates".
FWIW, border security and transgendered children were not mentioned once...
