    Pittsburgh EDGE Patrick Jones

    Notre Dame LT Liam Eichenberg

Fan of both of these two players. I do wonder how high they'll draft an edge rusher?.

    Virginia Tech OT Christian Darrisaw

This tackle class is so talented.

    NC State DT Alim McNeill
    https://steelersdepot.com/2021/02/20...-alim-mcneill/

I like McNeil as late day 2 early day 3 DT. I expect them to add to the d-line.

North Dakota State QB Trey Lance

    https://steelersdepot.com/2021/02/20...qb-trey-lance/

Lance sure does have a lot of talent but the lack of experience is worrisome.

    Clemson RB Travis Etienne

I wish these breakdowns had high school statistics and facts in them as well. A lot of times you can find more in a high school breakdown than a college breakdown. Could just be the systems or coaching or something else that makes the college tape look subpar or vice versa.

Not sure if that would help. I think there are a lot more guys that were impressive highschool players, that never impacted the game in college or were worthy of being much more than a late round pick. Can watch a couple seasons of Last Chance U and see a bunch of guys that were high school stars on their tape, who were worse in college.

Justin Herbert, Phenomenal high school career, college...not so good. NFL looks bright. Was probably in the wrong system in college. That’s what I want to see. Why were they good in high school and not in college? Just because the talent caught up to them or were they poorly coached? Were they in the wrong system? Etc.

Willie Parker was another one. Good high school, meh in college, good in the NFL.

Justin Herbert was touted as a potential Heisman winner in the 2019 season. His college career is better than you give him credit for. Justin Herbert Given the Sixth Best Odds to Win Heisman Trophy Award - Sports Illustrated Oregon Ducks News, Analysis and More

Willie Parker was likely faster in College than highschool.

Alex Highsmith was not really recruited from Highschool. His highschool film, playing against a lot of other guys that never played college ball, likely isnt that helpful from a scouting standpoint.

There is something about seeing a player and physical attibutes play against good competition that is more impressive than playing against highschool kids, when he was a kid.

Herberts college career was no where near where it was projected to be because he and the system didn’t mesh. That’s been said many times.

High school tape, clearly, isn’t the end all be all over college tape (not even close) but the two together can give scouts a better idea of the all around player as far as system, plays, decisions, progress and growth. I mean the scouts interview their college and high school coaches all the time.

It’s just extra information for us to look at.

If you want the extra info of highschool tape, sure. Myself, I dont care, as most of that would be film of an athlete that is not physically developed against weak competition.

IMO, the key to evaluating talent isnt the results or statistics, but the abilities and effort of the prospect(s). That is why so many quoted Artie Burns 5 INT's in his final year at Miami as a positive....but I watched them and saw they were not due to ball skills, as much as cheating off his primary responsibilities and some bad throws from a college QB at Boston College.

Herbert has always had the tools. He was a Heisman Trophy Candidate. I would be curious as to who the people were that were talking him down pre draft...likely just a bunch of bloggers.

IF the Steelers take a OC at 24 the only 3 I would consider are, in order:
    1. Creed Humphrey
    2. Josh Myers
    3. Landon Dickerson

Yup, good looking RB. Makes good decisions and quick cuts to get north-south and appears to have speed to go the distance. Reports are 5'10" 217lbs, so has some decent size to him if correct.

Left guard #53. Kendrick Green. Has played both guard and some center for Illinois. First team Big-10. Athletic, easy mover.

    Developmental center in round 4?

Molden is a slot corner, but probably my favorite corner in the draft. Physical player, he's Hilton like, but bigger.

Vince Williams gone? here is his late round replacement.
