Si ventus non est, remiga
Damn.....that sucks. What the hell is going on with so many still young ex-Steelers leaving us?
RIP
Prayers to his family and friends.
damn not the bus driver
52 years old! way too young
Unfortunate to hear. The original Bus Driver, from the Rams, to the Steelers.
No mention of cause, but the Willie Anderson tweet references "COVID is still here people".
COVID.
I have no heard/seen... yet.... but my bet is Kevin Greene passed from COVID or Complications from COVID as well.
Almost always, "IF" it's not COVID, OD'ing OR SUICIDE, the family has no problem disclosing a loved one's cause of death. WHY hide it otherwise ?
Well, my wife used to be the Director of a Suicide Coalition program for a Tri-County area. Basically raising awareness of Suicide, Supporting families of those who complete Suicide etc...
It is NOT uncommon at all for families of those that complete Suicide to NOT disclose this fact to ANYONE outside their family circle. For obvious reasons.
All they need to do, is request the Medical Director or Coroner to NOT list Suicide as the Cause of Death on their loved one's Official Death Certificate. This occurs FAR more often than anyone knows.
How often is this happening right now within this COVID Pandemic ? Especially now that some people have Politicized this issue. There are people literally taking their last breathes DENING that it's COVID that is killing them.

RIP Tim Lester
Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. Eagles problem now
Tim Lester, a running back-turned-fullback who was drafted by the Rams in 1992, died on Tuesday due to complications from COVID-19. He was 52 years old.
In his eight-year career, Lester also spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys. In his three years with the Rams, he developed a great relationship with running back Jerome Bettis, which is why he followed him to the Steelers where he earned the nickname “The Bus Driver.”
