Ravens stuffing Derrick henry.
Jackson continues to prove he sucks as a QB and is the Ravens best RB.
He doesn't really need to put more weight on. He's good as is with his speed. He should get a little stronger with and NFL off season, and the team and his trainers will know if he could put more weight on, get stronger, and improve his quickness and speed. On top of that, he will improve his route running, use of hands, getting off the LOS, and the techniques and tricks of the trade to use his size and power to help him get even more separation.
Imagine what he would do if he had the running game and play action game that Brown has with the Titans.
Imagine what he would be doing if he had Ben from 6-8 years ago that could buy time like Russell Wilson to get him the ball with a scrambling defense like Metcalf has.
Claypool is going to be just fine, and we're all going to see it.
The momentum is turning in this game. Lamar may be a bad passer but no doubt he is great as a runner
Claypool will be fine. I just would like to see him learn how to play through the DB. Either to go get the ball or to come back to the ball. Then you get the best of both worlds, the completion and the flag. Don't rely on the flag to salvage the play. He's a fairly polished WR in the technical elements of his position, but he needs to learn how to be a bully too.
That stuff will come. He now has an NFL season under his belt, so he knows what he needs to do starting now.
Again, the offseason will be key for him. Remember, no real training camp to work on his craft. He has been figuring out on the fly while also mysteriously becoming a smaller part of the game plan for the second half of the season.
This will literally be the first time he will have an offseason and next preseason to do nothing but work on being a better professional football player, and I believe he will become just that. The physicality was a natural thing at Notre Dame because he was bigger and faster than pretty much anyone he went up against. I think he will take that step at the NFL level with some coaching and preparation.
Defense and run game is the formula
The worst offensive play in football is the backwards pass. The risk reward is so out of kilter. The risk is a turnover and the reward is usually a 3-yard gain. I’ve seen three of those plays today.
To think we have to wait until primetime to watch the Steelers game because of this wasted time of a game just because the NFL is greedy. The Bears had no business being in a playoff game
If this is the game day thread, I’ll LOL here. What the actual fuck...
