This pretty much sums up a crazy 2020:
That’s pathetic lol. But no matter, you win your division, you win and you’re in. It happens so rarely, scrapping division winners making the post-season would be a knee-jerk decision and muck up what has worked well for a long time.
Redskins up 17-14 in Eagles territory. Pederson took Hurts out and put Sudfeld in (he has 2 turnovers in 2 possessions). Also genius Pederson goes for it on 4th and goal from the 5 down 3.
I'm no conspiracy theorist, but I wonder if Philadelphia is intentionally doing boneheaded shit just to screw the Giants over?
Yup, but I think that sends a message to the players that Philly is more concerned about draft position than its players. If one of its guys injured and ACL and the team had no intention of winning or playing competitive, its a bad look. Creates a lousy culture.

How about Jonathan Taylor in Indy?? Too bad the Steelers never had a shot at him, but its not like they would try and run the ball anyways.
Agree 100%. You could see the O-Line looked pissed.
Bottom line is that Pederson isn’t a good coach. He makes awful, awful decisions week after week. He lucked into the Super Bowl a few years ago. According to the Philly radio guys, he leaves Wentz out to dry on a weekly basis but makes “big changes” when Foles is in, when Hurts comes in.
I mean he ranked the season for 3 draft spots? Like 3 draft spots would make a difference? The Eagles aren’t a great drafting team to start with so to think that 3 spots is going to make or break this team at the expense of the rest of the team? I mean these guys picked Jalen Reagor in Round One. He was a Round 2 guy at best and the next 5-7 receivers were far and away better than Reagor...
Crazy.
...and Reagor got a concussion in that game last night that the Eagles were playing to lose. Sends a real good message to players that are out on the field risking injury for a team that has no intention of competing.
If Philly has no response to that debacle, I doubt they sniff a division championship in another decade. Philly is just a team to get a paychek from, but not one where a winning culture or caring about their players means anything.
Yeah the Eagles tanked and it was chickenshit but the difference between a win was 3 draft positions (in EVERY round). They would have fallen from #6 overhaul to #9.
And the Giants players, coaches, fans whining ... how about you win more than 6 games before you whine?
