If the steelers are able to turn this season around what is the most likely scenario?

Like most of you I don't think they will be able to turn this season around. The defensive injuries and the anemic offense are likely too much for the team to overcome. I think Ben's arm would have likely held up better this season but for having to throw in excess 200 passes 21 days? But, I always like to believe there is hope. So what's the most likely way to turn this thing around?

Somehow, a win this week where Ben throws the ball under 40 times, followed by a week off for most of the starters. Thereafter, a win in the first playoff game with a rested Ben and a few players back on D. Then take a chance of winning a second game. And then, of course, a miracle win over KC. A week of to rest Ben's arm again before playing Green Bay or New Orleans in the Super Bowl.

I'm certainly not predicting that. Just about the only chance I see.

Here i come to piss in the Cherrios. The Steelers had a golden opportunity to "turn things around " last Sunday against a 2 win Bengals team and they were unable to do it. The loss was a failure on a Coaching level as well as the team. Honest question for anyone who wants to take a shot, what AFC playoff team can the Steelers beat? I guess we'll get a preview of that vs the Colts.

If and that's a big if, they can fix this, then it will all be on Ben. Our defense has kept us in these losses until they tired, but if our offense can start to put up 24+ points per game we have a shot against anyone.
Sure Ben's play has been very noticeable, but the one loss that really hurt this team was Dupree. It is much easier to hide losing an ILB but once Dupree went down teams no longer had to worry about both edges since Highsmith wasn't a threat like Dupree. If you notice since Dupree went down our scoring on defense followed. Without the dual edge pressure QB's have had more time and made way less mistakes.

At this point we just need to try to win out. If we do and the Patriots this week or the Dolphins next week can beat Buffalo we will be the #2 seed. But as I mentioned above I think our defense is too banged up and our offense is what it isn't.

sorry to piss in your cheerios ...there is no turning this around , to many injuries on def and Ben isnt half the QB he used to be , we cant run the ball , Johnson cant catch , JuJu rather be dancing somewhere or making tik toc videos , they barely play claypool and washington ...the running game lmao what is that because clearly they havent a clue ...

and Tomlin is so fricken brilliant at clock management he lets 30 seconds go off the clock on 3rd and 18 with just over a min left in the half and 3 timeouts in his pocket with the opponent pinned deep in their own end ... what an idiot

outplayed in all 3 phases of the game and out coached across the board , you just not gonna win many games like that ...

been watching this rerun for 4 weeks in a row now
Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. 4 teams in 5 years and traded twice in one off season

Outscoring the Colts 21-3 in the 2nd half after trailing 21-7, maybe?

Nice to see the offense finally get back up off the mat after 3 weeks.

It was nice to see them attacking the defense down the field. It was also nice to see Claypool affect defenses with his presence and play on the field.

It opened up the underneath throws, and it even created more room for running by getting the safeties out of the box, and LB's not running downhill on every play.

Let's hope they found some secret sauce!
