    Deebo 3.0?

I'm sure this is just a coincidence/troll...but it would be kind of hilarious on so many levels:

If there's any linebacker that can play at age 42 it's James. The guy's training and work ethic is on par with Jerry Rice.

Steeldude will need a little "alone time" in a comfortable space.

James is one of my all-time favorite Steelers LBs and I will always remember his playing days fondly. I also remember the reasons he was allowed to walk the last time. I feel that video is him poking at Bud directly after his knee injury. Just my opinion of the current James.

My feeling also, Bud was ragging on James a lot after he departed.

Clay Matthews please (assuming he's in shape). I'll take a 34 year old Matthews over a 42 year old.

Deebo is dead to me. What he did was stab the team in the back. Hell of a LB, but not a Steeler.

Mike Tyson made a comeback at age 54.

Yep, his bridge is burned. Although I wouldn’t be saying that if he was 34 or 35. He did nothing with patriots. Matthews over him in a heartbeat.

His production sucked there, but there was a possibility that we would meet New England in the playoffs that year. Harrison's knowledge would have been a huge advantage for New England. The matchup didn't happen, but that's still enough to burn the bridge, IMO.

    Indeed

Joking aside, in his games as a Card and a Chief, he had 6.5 sacks... and, I don’t think it was a full season’s worth of games.

Wouldn’t be opposed to T-Sizzle, Clay Matthews or another veteran with a tiny bit left in the tank. I’d definitely want veteran experience at this stage in the season though.

They may just play as is though. These LBs have been playing all over the place this season so they may just continue to rotate and maybe they run with a little more 4-3 from here on out with Spillane getting some more outside snaps as well?

Say what you will about Tomlin and Butler (lord knows I’ve said the same) but these guys when faced with injuries, really do a good job at adapting their personnel land schemes to fit what they have. Think back to some of the personnel groupings they were using last season. Remember the 2 man fronts? Nothing says they can’t run a little bit of that and use Heyward or Tuitt as the outside rusher and bring a LB up the middle. Buds recent ability to set the edge against the rush will be missed but Heyward or Tuitt may be able to do that. Buds speed down the line though...that’s tough to replace.

Would Suggs ever put on a Steelers uniform? That's an interesting move. That move could undo all the love and respect he worked so hard for in Baltimore. This really is a hated rivalry amongst the fanbases. If comes to a playoff game(vs Ravens) and stopping a 4th and goal for the win, do you put Suggs in?

On the part of 'would I consider Suggs'? Absolutely. I would consider Matthews as well. James is a no for me just because I don't trust him anymore.

This is likely the biggest reason not to go get a vet pass rusher. Do they really "need" one?

The team is going to get sacks and pass pressure with or without Dupree.
Highsmith's best skill is rushing the passer. His worst skill is likely being as strong at the point of attack as an NFL veteran and being as fast as Dupree in backside pursuit.

So what the team actually needs is Highsmith to rush the passer and a run stuffer?

Agree. I’m saying though I’d feel better if they are bringing someone in, that it be a veteran. I’d prefer that Highsmith just do Highsmith things.
