god this is pissing me off
That and the Ravens players wouldn't have gotten on the plane and showed up for the game. Some sources are saying with the support of the NFLPA.
So to recap, the NFL has no plan besides stubbornness. And the players union, who ownership and the league have stuck it to in the last 2 labor negotiations, has almost zero interest in supporting the league's policies.
Weird. There is NO way anyone could have seen this coming. Nope. Totally impossible.
Seriously, what does the army of people/lawyers the NFL employs in the league office actually DO all day?
It’s a fluid situation. The NFL is handling things much better than our government — local, state or federal.
Game is at 3:40 ET. Any word on TV coverage?
WTF is the point now? Are they going to move our next game against the Redskins to at least Monday to give us an extra day to get ready?

Hopefully 3:40 AM!

Come on man, they are busy pouring through old game footage to see if they can fine a player for wearing the wrong color underwear!
Redskins game has already been moved to Monday at 5:00 PM.
I believe the game is on NBC like it was originally scheduled for this Week.
The Steelers/Skins game should have been a Fox broadcast and I do not know what the plan is for a Monday triple-header with 2 of the games (Dallas/Baltimore and WFT/Pitt) going off at the same time and on the same network...
Ravens play Tuesday night not Monday night
Anyone know what time the Monday game is?
Beyond comical
Damn! How much does tree lighting pay???
Oh, gee, JK Dobbins and Ingram are eligible to play Wednesday.
Might want to check that 3:40 pm start time with Commissioner Harbaugh.
Man, the Steelers better play this game angry. It’s total horseshit that they moved it to a Wednesday just to let the Ravens get players back.
Now the Broncos do have a legit beef with the league for preferential treatment.

But that is such a low bar the NFL tripped over it.

Btw, do we know our injury status? Are Haden and Juju now good to go?
Can’t say I agree when I compare it with NCAAF, MLB and the NBA. I’d rate the NFL first overall. Kudos to the NBA for the bubble but cancelling the season for several months was an overreaction. And the NCAAF schedules are a joke.
Zero games cancelled is a good accomplishment so far.
I’ll admit that 9 times out of 10 I’ll side with management.
I mean I guess technically nothing has been cancelled. Don't know if you can count the Saints-Broncos as a game. Who knows what the pending Ravens matchup looks like. Much less the rescheduled Week 12 games.
What happens when 3 days before a playoff game kicks off, this type of thing happens again?
Hope is not a plan.
At this point, they are going to make the Steelers play Saturday night, and then roll right into their next game Sunday afternoon.
It's all for the greater good we are told. The good for whom isn't known at this time.
“They say you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone. So I got rid of everything to see what I had.” ~ Steven Wright
So for those of us in the Pacific time zone, Wednesdays dame at 12:40 and Mondays game at 2. Eat a bag of dicks Roger Goodell and your band of Raven loving goons!
