Wow the faith the Saints have in Winston lol. Maybe the right call and would be a fun game to watch.

The Falcons have the 2nd worse pass defense behind the Seahawks. Interesting choice.

I think they want to see what he has in a real whole game audition. Drew is about gone.

I agree, time to find out if Hill is the long-term answer.

I heard that Jameis got into a fist fight (and won) against Sean Payton. That might also be a factor.

It reminds me of the time that I beat up a kid in a wheelchair.

Taysom Hill is 30 years old. He may be 'next' but he's not the long-term answer. I believe they wanted to keep Bridgewater but money is always the issue. Saints are hoping something clicks and works out with Winston. But even in his 2nd half vs the 49ers there were 3-4 almost turnovers by him. That just cannot be allowed. I think the Saints and Steelers are on a similar path when it comes to who will be the next franchise QB.

30 years old is young for a QB

Agreed. The Fslcons defense is trash. Let's not get overexcited.

Who knows, I think for football players, it's more so mileage than age. He hasn't taken 8 years of punishment like his other 30 year old peers, probably a big reason why he's still fast as hell.

Agreed. However, my post was in response to Hill being the planned long-term answer for life after Brees. No 30 year old is the planned long-term answer for an NFL team, especially for franchise QB. Can and will Taysom Hill continue to be an effective weapon for Sean Payton after Brees? Yes, I believe he will. I do not think Sean Payton is satisfied he has his future franchise QB yet.
