It's the people I can't stand. Yeah I get it, he's your boy, don't be slowing down traffic on the road or beeping your horn at me. Shit like that is obnoxious as hell to someone like me who could give a shit about these elections. Neither of these assholes care about you, or anything beyond their own personal gain. You really think Trump cares about this country? LOL. But hey, congrats, the obnoxiousness of these people actually got me to vote, which I wasn't planning to at all.

All I know is whoever gets elected, it isn't going to change much at all in the grand scheme of things. Obama was supposed to be the end of the world according to most republicans and I did just fine during that time, and my income was about half of what I'm making now (not due to anything Trump did).
It sounds like you meant to vote third-party but picked Democrat by mistake. If consideration for others is important to you, then you generally don't want to vote for imposing socialism on a few hundred million people - it's very disrespectful. But the joke's on you, since you'll have to live in it too. You know it's not too late to change your vote in many states.

You're right, i usually vote for a 3rd party. What good has that done? Ah yes the socialism bogeyman, I've heard it a million times when King Obama was the president. Fact of the matter is nothing really changed since Trump became president

The only thing that has changed in the last 4 years is the Democrats. When Obama was in charge, it was like you said. A lot of talk, a few changes that ranged from cosmetic to minor/moderate nuisances, and overblown hype about socialism that was easy to see through.

This is different. These people are fucking crazy. I mean, they're burning down buildings and locking you in your house, and telling you with a straight face that it's someone else's fault. The Orwellian shit has already started. This is no longer the usual story about some fat cats wanting to gain power so they can live high on the hog, and you can hardly tell one from the other. These people want REVENGE and they want to take it out on the country, meaning everyone including you.

I was in the same boat as you a few years ago, resigned to the fact that the more things change, the more they stay the same. The last election was a "lesser of two evils" choice. Since then, I have become what you would call an involuntary Trump supporter. But god damn, I would crawl over broken AIDS glass to vote for the man, because I can see what's coming if the other side were to win. That's why other people are so up in arms about it too, even if their way of showing it is not always spectacular. What the Democrats are doing should be setting off huge alarm bells for any individual who moderately cares about this kind of stuff.

Like I said, it's not too late to change your vote.

It's a shame more people can't see through the bullshit of politics, the owners of this country are going to do whatever they want, period. The politicians are there just to give you the illusion that your voice matters, it doesn't. These guys don't care about me, you, or anyone beyond themselves. I used to believe in duty to the country, now I just work for myself and my family.

Well if you've seen the things I've seen, you might be disillusioned with the way the country runs. My dad was a 20 year army veteran who fought in desert storm, who had bipolar disorder and depression after retiring. He had thoughts of suicide and tried to go to a nearby military hospital for help, and they turned him away. That same night, he killed himself. The government wasn't there when he needed them the most.

Another soldier I served with, was medically discharged due to a combat related injury. They said they couldn't fix him because it was 'too expensive', so they discharged him and gave him 30% of his base pay (which isn't much especially for an E-4). Of course, suffered from PTSD and depression, ended up also committing suicide.

Sooner or later you realize that the government has a way of turning its back on you in the greatest time of need, so I just said fuck it and hustled to make sure I was in a position to earn enough money to take care of myself and my family, because I have zero faith in the government to make my life any better.

Wouldn't be worth the effort, my state has 4 electoral votes so it's not like my vote actually matters in the presidential race. I was close to just writing in myself for president

I would call that a pretty smart outlook. I would add, however - the government may rarely make your life any better, but it is very capable of making it worse. The choice being offered by the Democrats is that they will deliberately make your life worse (which they will succeed at) if you are even moderately successful or have your shit together - in order to make things better for the people who are not (which they will fail at, as always).

That has been the Democrats' strategy for years: Convince people that things are bad and that government will come to the rescue. Only this time, they have added revenge and punishment to it.

Not to mention, they actually had to manufacture the bad times, and they were not clever or subtle about it at all. They just jammed the bad times down our throat and said "give us power so we can fix it." Why would anyone vote for the people who did this to them?

I'm sorry to hear that and I can certainly understand your anger. While veterans do slip through the cracks the VA does make an effort. For example there are 5 million Vets receiving VA disability compensation. That's a lot of tax payer money going to disabled vets.

I'm going to start by apologizing to you. I realize I may have been a bit out of line. I'm just fed up with everything at this point. I can't wait for this election to be over. I haven't worked in 8 months and I'm nearing the end of what I can sustain before I lose everything. So... I'm a little more interested in this election.

I can't stand Trump the man... never could. I can't see the Democrats being able, or willing to get this country rolling again. Trump is the man for that job, regardless if he cares about any of us. Biden is a puppet. He will no more be the POTUS than you or I will. The Left will run this country behind the scenes (Pelosi, Schumer, Shiff, Harris, etc...). Just look at the whack jobs coming up.... AOC and Omar, for example. And then there is Maxine Waters and Diane Feinstein. Scary shit right there. If you honestly want this country that you served to go in that direction, well................ I'm not sure what to say.

I have a very good friend that did two tours in Desert Storm. He watched 29 of his buddies die in a SCUD missile attack when his barracks was hit while he went out to take a piss. He is now fighting cancer because of the shit that he was exposed to over there. He showed me pics of the burned bodies laying all over.... missing limbs and heads, so I understand what you are saying about things you've seen and experienced. He tried to enlist again, but he was turned down.

He would never vote for Biden or the Left at this point in time. He served proudly and would never want to see what this country will become under the Left. All you have to do is look at the news every day for a small sampling of what is to come if Biden wins.

After over 36 hours all we got so are

    1. "Trump fans are annoying"
    and
    2. Biden is "compassionate" (even though he is a serial molester credibly accused of sexual assault) and "honest"

It's confirmed now that the only reason you are voting for Biden is because you were ordered to. You don't support a single policy from Biden. It's why you couldn't list any.

Yet you say nothing about the looting, arson, murder, rioting etc... by Biden supporters. You are upset at Trump supporters beeping their horn, but content with Biden supporters vandalizing cars on highways and so on.

I didn't know a kitchen table could be compassionate.

No liberals can answer it because they know Biden doesn't have any policies worthy of a vote. They are ordered to vote for Biden by the liberal elites via their TV.

Sorry to hear about your situation and no need to apologize to me man, everybody's entitled to their opinion and I respect yours even if it wasn't in line with my thoughts. But I hope things work out for you. Even though there's mixed opinions on opening up the economy, I could definitely see a case for people needing to get back to work, the bills don't stop even if the economy does.

I really feel both wings of the government has officially lost their minds tbh, and it doesn't matter who's in charge. IMO the wealthy elites already have the government paid off and will get their way no matter what. With this much money involved in politics (lobbyists paying off politicians to do their bidding), there's no way corruption won't happen. It is what it is, and that's my main reasoning behind "hustle and get paid as much as you can because the government won't ever have your back" mindset I have.

Sorry about your friend, honestly I've been through a similar thing, that's why I left after my first term was up. The images of burnt bodies will be forever scarred in my memories, it certainly wasn't as glorious as I thought it'd be. There are some who can handle that life, but it wasn't me. I got out because I knew I'd lose my mind if I had to even do another 4 years. I was a forward air controller, so I had a front row seat to what warfare looked like, and it takes a certain kind of person to make that a career.

I typically always voted for the libertarian candidate, since I'm the type of guy that believes in smallest government possible and least amount of government interference in my life. This time around was a fuck it vote, since I don't think in my lifetime we'll see a libertarian president, and my state has almost nothing for electoral votes.

Well not all Trump supporters ride in caravans supporting Trump either. You're more concerned about peaceful supporters honking their horns than Biden supporters murdering, looting, committing arson etc... Why is that?

Serious question. Why are you here? You obviously are not a steeler fan. Here's an idea why don't you go back to the cheat board and troll over there! I guarantee you, nobody will miss you or your animal pictures.

Great question. I always try to play devils advocate so I ask myself why is some one like that so negative and miserable. We’re lucky we only have to read posts as opposed to actually having to work with or spend time with this hateful human. My conclusion to bitterness is he's a lib and patriots fan. A total has been with no future. Their best player ever leaves them and they now suck balls. His party left him and are now marxist, anarchists. Dude has nithing but playing bingo with other blue hairs. Oh and his primate pictures he gets off on. Pathetic existence
