I keep reading that the Steelers are going to make a trade (Avery Wilkinson comes up a lot) for an ILB, what does every think? If we lose to the Rats, and it is due to a big hole in the ILB corps, I think we pull the trigger. If we win, then I think they run with who they have.
With Spillane getting hurt on that one tackle it just shows you how we could be totally screwed if any of the other starters go down. If Avery Wilkinson is available as a rental you pull the trigger.
The kid in Detroit makes some sense. They had him in predraft. Lions are short a pick from the trade with Dallas.Also don't he and Austin overlap in Detroit?

Interesting. The "word" is that they can't afford to keep Hilton.
If they move Sutton, doesn't that mean that they must sign Hilton?
I really like the way Sutton has been playing and see him as a quality player with a low cost contract.

Dam, really liked Sutton, it is going to be a difficult off season for a lot of teams with a reduced salary cap

I guess his name is Williamson, I would love to steel Myles Jack, but don’t think we could swing his contract and we would be hamstrung for next year unless Ben agrees to take a major cut.
Dam, Sutton just had a GREAT game against the Titans, I hope he's not the guy moved. I was really hoping to move a pick and get a rental player like Williamson.

UG3 is out vs the Ratbirds.
That leaves Marcus Allen as the backup ILB.
That is fine. I still think they have flexibility with being able to put Watt or Highsmith inside if they want bigger, or else Edmunds or Sean Davis in the box too. I just hope UG3 can make a recovery, because his coverage ability as a ILB was really good.

I agree. This is the guy that looks like he can be a 4 down player if healthy, and has shown the best coverage skills.
He looked terrific before the injury. Like a guy that could make plays on Sundays.
