Elliott took that spot quick.
I would be very surprised if none of our players who are going to be cut are claimed by the Giants
Their new head coach has been with the Patriots for several years, so with no preseason, he's going to want as much detail as possible on the practices of the steelers!
Switzer cut per Dulac.

UDFA corner back James Pierre makes the 53
McCullers has been cut, 7th round rookie Davis makes the 53.
He's going to keep banging that drum. If he keeps saying it long enough, Ben will be on Social Security and unable to play.....at which point he will eventually be correct.
He has convinced himself that his alternative universe is reality.
You can't make this shit up.
Steelers keep 4 OLB's.
JC Hassenauer made the roster which keeps 9 OL, though he may be insurance in case DeCastro misses week one.
Only took 6 years for the Steelers to realize how useless McCullers was. A little surprised by Deon Cain, I thought he flashed well during the season. Must have stunk in practices
I think this is more about what McCullers didn't do rather than what Davis was able to do in limited action. Big Dan hasn't done enough and the team is willing to give a kid a chance because they think they see something in him.
I'm down with it. Now we need to see what he does if he sees the field against real NFL players playing at NFL game speed and intensity.
Figure a lot of those guys circle back and end up on the expanded PS, especially since they expanded the eligibility parameters as well.
Probably. I also think we should expect personnel decisions to go a little retro back to the 90's for a few years with the reduced salary cap. If people remember in the 90's, when the salary cap first came about it was middling type veteran players that payed the price, as teams tried to save every penny on the cap. Eventually teams learned to manipulate the cap (nobody better than the Steelers) to keep those type players. Well for the next couple of years expect a return to such shenanigans.
I'm crazy to think that a HOF QB makes a big difference, especially if he is healthy ...
If he is healthy and when the rust will gone, our offense should be fine.
How about this
-The Steelers offensive struggles had to do with more than just QB struggles. There was blame to go all over the offense.
-It is unclear if Ben will return to form at age 38 coming off an injury
-If Ben does return to form the offense will OBVIOUSLY be better and Ben will OBVIOUSLY make the offense better (OBVIOUSLY)
All three can be right
