IMO, AP would make a good backup to Derrick Henry in Tennessee.
I know what his stats are and 8 games averaging under 4.0 (more than half his games)...7 of which were 3.08 or less is far from average. He had three games where he averaged over 6 and inflated his YPC to make it look respectable. He’s on the downslide. He’d be much more effective as a back up to say...Derrick Henry or Zeke Elliott or Alvin Kamara than a starter.
He’s pretty much the only offensive weapon the Redskins had...lol. Well Scary Terry showed up for a few weeks there...
AP doesn't mesh well with their roster. His almost total non-participation doesn't help them put formations out that maximize whatever it is that Haskins does well. Combine that with even as a 2 down hammer; AP just isn't what he once was. He can still contribute but is far better suited as a short-yardage or goalline veteran complement to a more dynamic RB on a playoff squad...
If you put him on a good running team, he still has gas in the tank. He just can't carry a bad offense.

Can't figure out how to quote multiple posts on my phone. But the last two posts nailed it. AP will be on a team and provide a positive contribution. He could get 3.5 yards a carry into his 60s.
