I think I still remember 2-3 names.
I think I still remember 2-3 names.
I was thinking about this last week with there being no sports on I haven't been watching or listening to any sports talk shows and couldn't remember who any of our picks were and had to look them up.
We drafted Joe Greene
I was honestly trying to list the newest class in the order they were drafted and only got Claypool and Highsmith. I remembered drafting a RB and a OG but couldn't recall the names. Then I was like who else did we freaking draft? Kinda scared myself.
Here they are again for those who also brain-farted the draft away.
1. (Minkah)
2. Chase Claypool
3. Alex Highsmith
4a. Anthony McFarland
4b. Kevin Dotson
6. Antoine Brooks
7. Carlos Davis

McFarland
Dotson
Claypool
Those are the three that have some sort of chance at impacting whatever the 2020 season ends up being. OLB, S, and DL are rocky transitions at best with a full year of OTAs, camp, and off-season workouts. Those three will likely need a redshirt year in 2020. Which will just get them branded as busts and lazy.
Highsmith will be a part of the rotation at OLB (in order to keep Watt and Dupree fresh). He’s my pick for our ROY.
He’ll get about 9-10 snaps per game... 160 snaps in the regular season... 4 batted passes, 8 hurries, 3 sacks, 2 TFL, 19 total tackles.
with no preseason games to help sort things out IMO the incumbents will at the very least early on see the bulk of the work , that will perhaps change as the season wears on but week 1-2 and maybe longer i doubt we see much from anyone drafted other than ST other than Claypool and even he may not see early action
we traded a lot of draft capital to move up in rd 1 last year and didnt commit to him as anything more than a role player most of the season and we had a normal off season and training camp and full preseason to get him ready
Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. Eagles didn't value him either , now he is a Stain at the Mistake by the Lake 3 teams in 4 years more of a shooting star than a superstar
chase claypool who peed in the pool as a teenager and still does
