    Defensive "Defeats" in 2019

Fancy wording for anything that stops the offensive drive and forces a turnover or punt.

Not surprising, but TJ Watt is really good at this. But, despite arguments to the contrary, so is Bud Dupree. Like top tier in the league good. Also, stupidly dominant and in this metric the only Dlineman to hold a candle to Aaron Donald -- Cameron (Yes. MojoUW seriously argued for trading him after Roethlisberger's injury) Heyward.

Also making strong showings, Hargrave, Haden, Edmunds, and MFF.

Edmunds is particularly telling because really no turnovers or sacks. That is all pass breakups and tackles. It is almost like he does the exact job they ask him to...

Great link with some very interesting numbers regarding a part of the game that tends to get overlooked. With everyone watching highlights of sacks, interceptions, big hits......players that fill a role by playing within the design of a defense to make plays at crucial times tend to get overlooked. It is one of the things that is sometimes underappreciated about players that don't make a lot of splash plays.

The Aaron Smith Rule of Thumb. I mean even Aaron Smith’s name is overlooked...nothing flashy about it.
