Wow. I'm going to start doing yoga and drinking more beer and golfin!

He looks good in this slice of what we see. Hopefully all this negativity from the national media (and some local) has put a chip on his shoulder.

I like the smooth motion. He's not forcing anything. It doesn't look like he's doing anything different or compensating for something. That was a beautiful, smooth step into the throw and release with a very relaxed delivery.

    Great sign!

It's a very limited sample, so I don't want to get crazy here. But nothing suggests he has any arm issues at all. He looks very natural.

Ben must be eating a lot of garlic. In the pic's above at 10:58 AM May 18 2020 he is sitting in the aircraft and has short hair and no beard. In the pic above that at 11:07 am May 18 2020 he is in a barber chair with hair on his head and face.

Nobody is calling for Ben to be benched, so that's a good sign.

Ben looks so much better. The Grizzly Adams look doesn't suit him.

Ben has a lot to prove. He's not going into camp out of shape. He looks fine in those photos. He was never the type of guy to grace a cover of a magazine with his shirt off.

If the elbow is good, I see no reason why he can't be 85% of what he was when he lead the NFL in passing not so long ago.

Steelers' receiver details recent passing session with Ben Roethlisberger, says Pittsburgh's QB 'let it rip'

Roethlisberger still has his fastball following last year's elbow surgery

Ben Roethlisberger made headlines after releasing a hype video on Monday showcasing a recent passing drill with teammates JuJu Smith-Schuster, Ryan Switzer and James Conner. It was a significant step for Roethlisberger, who is expected to be ready to go when the Steelers kick off the 2020 regular season.

Switzer, during a recent interview with Mark Kaboly of The Athletic, offered a glowing review of Roethlisberger's passes following Saturday's 90-minute session. Switzer said that Roethlisberger, who is nearly eight months removed from elbow surgery, not only displayed his patented velocity, he was also able to make some deep throws, completing at least one 50-yard pass to Switzer during the session.

"Man, he let it rip," Switzer said. "There was no restraint, no hesitancy, he was just out there. He has been throwing like that for a while and, in my opinion at least, getting out there on that field for the first time and throwing full-speed routes was refreshing. The control factor was taken out of it. He was out there and he was throwing. Did some off-schedule stuff. No restraints. He threw everything — across his body. Everything."

There are two headlines in this story.

    1) Ben is mend and will be ready for the season.

    2) Ryan Switzer made the team as of May 2020.
