Not a bad plan B for the Cowboys if Dak decide to sit out because of his contract situation….
Not a bad plan B for the Cowboys if Dak decide to sit out because of his contract situation….
I predict that some like Stephen A. Smith will say that the Cowboys are still disrespectful to Dak Prescott even if the Cowboys offered at least 33 million per year with over 100 million guaranteed the other time.
My source told me that Colbert offered Dalton $6,999,999... and that Jerrah added one dollar to the deal and stole him away.
My source is someone at the dog park. And, Yes, that someone is a labradoodle.
Regardless... CHEAP ROONEYS!!!
I realize the Steelers didn't "screw up" by not signing Dalton.... BUT... if we get put into the same situation as last year we're all gonna be complaining that the Steelers didn't pay Dalton $3M or Winston $1M or Cam $5M(?). Meanwhile we'll be watching Mason and Duck throw interceptions every week on the way to another 8-8 season with a dominant defense. Personally, I think we should've signed a veteran.
Signing Dalton might have caused some season ticket holders to cancel. I would not pay to watch Dalton play in any uniform.
All Defense!
They are telling Dak sign for market value or else. Dalton probably could do almost just as well as Prescott and he costs what, 3 million?
Dalton at his best is better than Dak has been.
I have to disagree with that. Dalton's weaknesses have been completion percentages and TD:INT ratio in a few seasons that really hurt him. Prescott hasn't had that yet. Sure, the organizations are night and day in terms of facilities, attitude, culture. I think Dalton has become the guy you watch and expect to screw up and lose important games.
Still a good QB and probably looking to cash in on the free agent market the following season. Or, sign with Dallas long term if Prescott doesn't get a deal done.
This is a very good signing for the cowboys to protect in case that if Dak sit out in the training camp and some game in the regular season.
Dalton, in my opinion, is a decent backup not a franchise QB. We've all seen him play with the bungholes. Just like the rest of the bungholes players, you just sit and watch them make those stupid plays that end's up losing the game. Plus, just like Harrison when he came back, you'd never get that 'cat' smell out of the locker room. And sorry, I just couldn't watch that goofy eyebrow, red head in the Black/Gold.
Dalton,their next Nick Foles?
Stephen Jones says Cowboys having Andy Dalton as backup QB is comparable to when Eagles had Nick Foles
