Sometimes I really think it's like haters gonna hate. Like Mojo stated above Ben has never been a gym rat but, there were a few years Ben was in better shape.

    Agreed.

The other thing none of these clowns mention is that nobody....and I mean nobody has played harder, tougher, or taken more punishment than he has in that time.

Dinking and dunking down the field is not a bad strategy when you have a senior citizen (jk) at QB and possess a good defense that will keep you in most games. You just have to be able to hit the long pass plays after have when you need/want them.
It would be nice to get a hybrid version though. I think the uncomfortable elbow probably contributed to a lot of those interceptions in 2018.

If he’s pain free maybe we get the best of all worlds.

Yeah, I think most QB's that play in a Bruce Arians offense take a regular beating from pass rushers.

Arians was interviewed by Pat McAfee and pretty much debunked this garbage comment by Glazer and confirmed that Bens arm was hurting for over a year...

Why not? its not his knees or back that was the problem, its his elbow. If that is healed, and there's no pain anymore, he should be better than he was in 2018 (when he had the pain). I don't think the doctors would have cleared him if they thought the pain would come back if he resumed throwing the football....

It’s also a total fallacy that Ben is out of shape. He couldn’t do much cardio during the season, but since he’s been cleared to work out again he’s been doing cardio 5 times a week. He isn’t partying on jet skis. He’s working out and getting ready for the season. He’s always had a pudgy face, with our without the beard so it makes him look fat, but I really don’t care what his face looks like. He’s gonna be just fine.

    This drama is maybe over…

Jay Glazer Shares Amazing Story About Ben Roethlisberger and his Fitness

FOX NFL Insider Jay Glazer joins Jason Smith and Mike Harmon and shares a story of how Ben Roethlisberger was upset at him for how he described his past workouts. Jay jokingly wrote in The Athletic that Big Ben's idea of past off-season workout programs consists of yoga, playing golf, and drinking some beer. When it was presented to Ben without context, he thought Jay was describing his rehab. The truth is Roethlisberger has been passionately rehabbing his injured elbow and will be ready to play this upcoming season. Jay credits Ben for his hard work and for reaching out so they could iron out any miscommunication.

You know what didn't get talked about enough in all this? That Brady was quickly held up as an example of a "fitness guy". But we never acknowledged that either it is all a sham because the "TB12 Method" is TOTAL nonsense or he actually believes in "muscle pliability" and that a ton of water prevents sunburn. Either way, not sure if the guy who's beliefs about fitness are so out there that the team had to ban his personal "Doctor" from leading other players into the weeds is a great model to follow.

TL;DR -- Brady good at QB. Believes made-up nonsense about fitness.
