DT from Nebraska
That's a wrap for the Steelers 2020 NFL Draft. UDFA signings should be announced later.

Crap, no R7 TE!
A discuss thrower... turned football player. Why not? Carlton Haselrig made a similar transition.
So...I figure it isn't a good thing when Steelers Depot post on the pick has his twin brother's highlight reel...not his posted.
Fiddlesticks. If he doesn't run a 4.4 40, I'm sure he'll make a horrible DT. What a waste of a R7 pick. Might as well tank the season now and get it over with it.
See you Space Cowboy ...
He's a developmental 2 down A gap plugger. I find it strange that he is a thrower in track and doesnt have good knee bend, but hopefully can figure that out and be a rotational NT at some point. Chris Hoke kind of guy.
Thrilled if he turned into Chris Hoke.
Traditional stud 3-4 NT is not a position that is of much importance anymore until, of course, you are playing a team or are in a situation where you really need one . For example, if you are playing the Titans and cant stop the run its going to be a bad day.
I rewatched the Shrine game footage of him and not going to be that optimistic that he makes the 53. He was playing DT against offensive line of Michael Owenu, Jon Runyan of Michigan and Darryl Williams of Miss St...they abused Davis. He didnt get any penetration or push and was often on skates in the run game. Davis brother was actually more impressive in the game, but still not that much of a factor. Gonna be a project if that footage is any indication.
