It's going to be the thread to talk about the draft during this draft and here is another report that the falcons want to trade up.

Tanking is overrated and you need more that this if you want one day become a true contender… Tanking for a draft pick for the last 1-2 games of the season, I can understand but for an entire season, no since it's more important to build a winning culture....There are a lot more ways to build a great team that tanking.

It would be a surprise at this point if the Lions draft 3rd....
NO
I have the feeling that we will have a lot more WTF pick than usual in this draft ... I do not know if in this board have this same feeling.
Smart teams will get through this odd draft and abnormal evaluation period just fine. Bad/dumb teams will screw it waaaaayy up. Time to find out which teams are which.
Well, at least we can't screw it up until tomorrow!
Sometimes quality is more important than the quantity
The Browns had 14 drafts pick in 2016 and none of his players are right now with the team.
This makes me think about possible trades for the Steelers. It has been discussed on here about trading back for additional picks in the mid rounds. The question really is quantity vs quality. Does the player that falls/sits at pick 49 out value trading back for 2-3 additional picks? This will be interesting to watch because this draft really is deep at positions the Steelers have needs in, and have drafted very well at historically. I can't call it now before the board is close to the 49th overall pick, let alone even started. That is not a trade that should be decided before the 2nd round begins, IMO. Maybe not until pick 49 is on the clock.
Can we please have this thread with NO SPOILERS PLEASE! I know some of you really like to watch twitter and get the picks early, but please don't spoil it for some of us that enjoy the anticipation.

Actually if I were in charge, I would use tonight to simulate every pick for practice. When a team's pick came up I would pretend it was ours and go through the whole process of making the pick except for the phone call. You do that 30+ times and when it's really go time, most of the screw ups that you could have made have been rectified before you actually go live with your pick.
I would also wait at 49 before to trade down ... For trading with pats, going back 30-40 spot is right now way too much for me since it's not so likely that the steelers will have at least 2 good players in that. The Browns in 2016 and 2017 with Sashi Brown traded down so many time and they had almost nothing as result outside to have 2 number 1 pick and a 1-31 record.Even you and me would have been able to do this!(have 2 number 1 pick in 2 years!)

Don't worry, I'm not going to say the pick during the draft ... I'm going to watch the draft for the most part on TV

st33lersguy will be a genius if after the texans draft Jonathan Taylor!

I'm glad these guys add the "per source" on these tweets. I'd hate to think these are made by hunch.
If we don't draft Taylor or Edwards in round two, Evans would be a nice 4th round pick at RB.We know seven of the 37 players Colbert said they FaceTimed.
Jonathan Taylor/RB Wisconsin
Darrynton Evans/RB Appalachian State
Evan Weaver/ILB California
Shaun Bradley/ILB Temple
AJ Green/CB Oklahoma State
Dehonta Hayes/S Eastern Washington
Don't expect any player to fall to our 3rd round comp pick. Colbert MUST find a good player in round two.
My hunch is this draft won't fall right for the Steelers.
