    HELP! I'M IN ENEMY TERRITORY!

    I'm a big Steelers fan trapped in the bowels of Bungles country! Please tell me I'm not the only one that's trapped here.


    Just a few points about myself off the bat - I. Love. Football. NFL, College, Arena, heck I was even watching some CFL last night. I make an effort to try to keep up with every team (except the Bengals), and would be glad to watch about any game played by 31 of the 32 NFL franchises (bet you can't guess the 1 team I won't watch :P). And to me, the Steelers embody everything that I love about the game (IMO, the Pittsburgh Steelers ARE Professional Football). In sports, it isn't always the strongest, the fastest or the smartest that accel, its the ones whom are most driven. And that's who the Steelers are. They don't always have the stats, they don't always have the recognition, but they have the wins - and most importantly - they have the rings. That's what's most important, isn't it?

    Wow, thank you for the welcome everybody. I've been to some Steeler message boards, but I'm really liking my stay here best so far. It's a lot more up-beat and positive (you lifers might laugh when you read that, but I guess I've been to some pretty lousy boards - at least you don't have posters stalk you and call you a "bandwagon jumper" in every thread & post you make - or maybe I just haven't seen them yet :/). I'll be honest, my past fandom is sketchy, and I'm not the most proud of it. But the past is the past, and some people just want to keep throwing it back in your face. Hopefully this is an enviornment where I can be honest and open and not get crapped on for it.

    You don't have to agree with me, but I do recomend it.
