    Bye-bye XFL

    Well there will be one sports league that will not be reopening

    The XFL suspended operations Friday morning and laid off nearly all of its staff, multiple sources told ESPN. While a handful of executives remain employed, the league currently has no plans to return in 2021.

    Looked like they had a plausible business plan going into the initial season but, in the words of Mike Tyson, everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth

    Must say I'm not surprised but I enjoyed watching this XFL season. It was nothing like the AAF which brought no excitement.
