Trubisky is not that bad, but he's not going to move the franchise forward either. I think Foles if he can stay healthy wins the job, just because Bears fans and perhaps coaches have seen enough of Trubisky. The Bears do not have a first round pick.

Trubisky is not that bad? At what? Trubisky is awful at playing QB. I would rather have Mason Rudolph than Trubisky.

Foles should win this thing by a mile if he can stay healthy. That being said, all the QBs who were available this off-season and the Bears went with Nick Foles? That was predictable because of the coaching staff, but not likely the best idea.

The 2017 draft will haunt the Bears forever!

For Foles, he can be very good when he has nothing to lose as we saw with the eagles and he is one of the best backup in NFL history(2013,2017,2018), but as a starter(2014,2015 and 2019), it's another story but I think the Bears wanted go with a QB who would accept to be the backup if Trubisky was going to have a good training camp and preseason ... They want to give him a last chance.

Wow, seems like yesterday when Trubisky was drafted and already the 5th year option decision is now.
