Minkah Fitzpatrick to keep #39

When Fitzpatrick was traded to the Steelers, the number he wore at Alabama, No. 29, wasn't available. Instead, he was given No. 39, something that didn't excite him, but he made a promise to himself.
"It's like what I did with No. 29," said Fitzpatrick. "When I got to Alabama, they just kind of gave me No. 29. I didn't want it. I thought it was an ugly number. Then I told myself if I have a freshman All-American year, I will keep it. And I did do that, so I kept No. 29 and it stuck with me into my first season in the NFL.

They also ought to watch one of the games where he got 21 yards on 19 carries. It shouldn't be too difficult; there were like 8 of those per season.

First Steeler I think of for #39 is not FWP.

First one is the ancient Bobby Walden, the punter on most of the 70s teams.

Next is Darren Perry who is from my area in Virginia.

I honestly can't remember who they was against but thought it was against 3 different teams but I could be wrong. In 2006 he seem like the only player giving his all that year. Look at his stats and he did have a very good year.
