    JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Conner

In 2018 JuJu was the MVP and Conner was a Pro Bowler. 2019, WTF. As the draft approaches I see RB big need, and this just happens to be a very deep WR class. Should the Steelers bank on a bounce back from both players or draft RB and WR in rounds 2-4?

Relying on Conner would be very risky as he cannot stay healthy. JuJu should be able to bounce back with Ben at QB, but that doesn't mean the Steelers should not draft a receiver.

I believe the Steelers will draft a WR in this draft. I don't think they will draft a RB but never say never.

Prolly should just give up. With the lack of talent, poor coaching, and terrible cap management there is no path to success available.

Great idea!! Not only time to give up on busts like JuJu and Conner, just roll out a bunch of UDFA's that they don't have to pay much and tank the season. Maybe see if Mark Madden would be GM and Kaboly would coach for a year's worth of Primanti's.

That way the cheap Rooneys could save some money, start fresh in a couple seasons with zero cap hit and the #1 pick.

At least some comic sarcasm into one of these threads.

Maybe we can talk Jimmy Johnson out of retirement.

I don’t know why they just don’t trade JuJu and Conner for Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara. They should also just sign Teddy Bridgewater as a backup and cut Duck Hodges.

as long as we fire Tomlin, we all know we can't win another Super Bowl with him as our head coach.

    obviously...

I like Brady as the backup.

    That’s stupid.

Trade JuJu for the #2 overall...
...and Conner for the #18* overall.

*(Our original pick before that ill-advised Minkah Stinkspatrick debacle.)

But then you’re just getting good picks. I’d rather just have the proven talent. They could probably trade Duck for a 4th round pick, package that with their current fourth rounder to get a third. Put the two thirds together (the one they received and a comp for Bell) and get a second. If they use both seconds with Chickillo, they could probably get their 18th pick back and if they combine their 18th with Ramon Foster, they could probably get into the Top-5. But they probably won’t do it because it’s just “not something the Steelers do”. Blah, blah, blah. It’s not hard to do, Colbert just is afraid to do work.

This prevents you from cutting two players. Then you get a RB, WR, and probably a QB of the future...if you don’t take the QB, then you get a Top-5 player and then just sign Andy Dalton or Phillip Rivers as a back up. Maybe Brady, but he’s probably just staying in NE.

This shit is so easy, we should start our own team.

In 2019, we didn't have an NFL quality starting QB and teams didn't have to cover AB anymore, that's what happened and we still almost made the playoffs.
