Down Goes New England, Down Goes New England, Down Goes New England!

Once the New England spy network went down, their season followed.

The sand in Tom Brady's hourglass is just about up. Our #1 roadblock to reach the super bowl seems to be officially eliminated.

And with this the AFC just got interesting. No longer the Patriots and 15 teams kowtowing to their benefit.

Steelers could not even make the postseason the past 2 seasons. I think they have to worry about more teams than just New England.

Some fans should read any book by John Wooden. "Worry about yourselves, not the opponent" is a great lesson to be learned from Coach Wooden

Yeah, don’t really care about new England’s loss and demise. We’re not in the postseason. It would’ve been good if we had done what the titans did yesterday.

Tom Brady was asked who the best quarterback that he faced in the AFC during his tenure. His reply? Chad Pennington. That sums it up.

New England has an unfair advantage for decades as the Jets, Dolphins, and Bills sucked. New England would usually go 5-1 to 4-2 in their weak @ss division, meaning if they split their other ten games at 5-5, they end up with an overall record of 10-6 to 9-7. But as we knew, they usually do not split their non-division games. The result of being in such a bad division for years was an automatic playoff bid and favorable seeding in the playoffs with at least one home game.

And been replaced by the Ravens with a legit QB who is way harder to tackle than Brady.

Don't care. The Steelers aren't in it and weren't the team that did it. And #1 roadblock to the Super Bowl? That Unwarranted Steeler fan arrogance. The Last time I checked, it wasn't New England who eliminated the Steelers in their last playoff game, and the Steelers haven't been to the playoffs for years now. Celebrating a teams demise is Browns level.

The Steelers have way more pressing problems at hand than just the New England boogeyman.

Remember the year Cam Newton was MVP and the Panthers went 15-1? What have either done since?

Let's see if they can actually win it all (which Newton and the Panthers failed to do) and then repeat their success next season before we crown them the new class of the AFC.

The Steelers would more than likely be playing next weekend if they had the benefit of even just average QB play this year. You make it sound like they've been racking up 4-12 seasons for the last decade and that an entire teardown and rebuild is in order. It isn't. Get a grip.

I completely agree with both of your responses.

If that was even true, should I feel happy about it? Congratulations, we waited it out?

But the #1 roadblock to our success was that we wasted a whole decade and an incredible amount of talent over stupid shit.

The same can be said for the Steelers in the 90s / early 2000s.

They couldn't stop the big guy. Fail to stop the run and you'll likely lose, that's one thing in the NFL that will never change. 34 carries for 182 yards will equal a win more often than not. Henry is a BEAST.
