You just can't put much stock in that, because there are always a ton of those things in every game, and they won't all go your way and they're never going to. I'm sure the Browns are just a few near-misses away from 16-0 that way too. But the fact is, a really good team makes 5 or 10 OTHER good plays, and then the little things don't matter, because it wasn't third down, or the penalty didn't put them in field goal range, or you scored a touchdown on the last drive to go up 2 scores.
You may have hit on something, which is that this team has just enough talent in key places to hang in there against anyone - but it is not good enough to win without catching some breaks. Pretty much the state of things in 2019.
