It's not over!!! The silver lining playbook.

We need to keep our expectations in check, or at least I will speak for myself . This season is an amazing accomplishment with the lack on offense and losing once in a life time QB, RB,and WR

We gained a good a view of our depth in roster in RB,QB,WR.

WR..We have a good young group. Some said in another thread we may not have a true number 1 but we may have 3 solid 2s.
RB- We learned that we maybe target RB help this off season. I love conner but he cant stay healthy. And we drop off quickly after him.
QBs. Duck and Mason have now experienced in game pressure at an NFL level. That's why I wish we make the playoffs, so they can experience playoff game under their belt. This is great development for your back up QB.

    This defense is superbowl ready.

Also , Its not OVER. We no longer control our destiny but if we win next week and titans lose to Texans were in the dance at 9-7. At least want to get this young gritty team a taste of a playoff atmosphere.

1pm next sunday is gonna be stressful.

I honestly wouldn't mind bringing Bell back next season. Feels like mutual interest would be there. Getting Bell back and getting Ben back would change this offense immensely. I wouldn't be surprised if this goes down.

Just like last year, it comes down to the final week of the season to determine the Steelers' postseason fate. They make be dragged kicking and screaming to the playoffs, whether they like it or not. The Titans absolutely do not want to make it either.

It may not be over, but it’s basically over, we can’t even beat a bad jets team

How could anyone be satisfied with this outcome when we could have been better with a decent backup? - we had the defense.

Season is not a total waste, Now we indeed know that Hodges is not the answer, and Rudolph probably is not either: we need a better backup for Ben next year,

looking forward to them keeping the defense intact, tuitt coming back, Ben coming back, some additions to the offense and the team competing with the ravens or whoever comes out on top next year

Yea pretty much over and, this team kinda reminds me of some of the 90's team good defense terrible QB play.

We definitely learned that the Steelers were Ill prepared for the moment Ben would be put for any considerable amount of time. The Coaching staff was going to be tested to see how the would fare without Ben. Mike Tomlin mostly succeeded, but Randy Fichtner has been exposed as a mere figurehead who is out of his depth in the NFL. We can hinge the poor offense on substandard QB play and OL, but QB and OL cannot make up for piss poor playcalling and Wildcat shenanigans. You don’t need a HOF QB to realize that the Wildcat is a once in a while gimmick that failed and had no business being run. Two games were lost this year due to the Wildcat.

When Ben comes back next season, they really need to start considering making a change at OC sometime soon.

Agreed on Fichtner, he looks to be part of the problem, a good QB coach might have helped Rudolph and Duck as well. Your right, team was not prepared for Ben being out more than a game or two - which is what it took to expose the rooks
