Yeah I’m thinking a 1st or 2nd round draft pick will take his place in 2021.

Hill’s extension is for three years and $54 million. That $18 million annual average ties him with Odell Beckham Jr. as the second highest paid receiver in football. Beckham’s contract with the Cleveland Browns is for five years and $90 million.

Michael Thomas of New Orleans Saints holds the title of the wide receiver with the highest average salary of $19.25 million.

My guess is that is what JuJu will be seeking
    Simply answer: Yes

When AB was playing with backups, he posted similar pedestrian numbers that JuJu had this season (6-78-0). But, when JuJu had no AB (but, still had a healthy Ben), his stat-lines were as follows:

    7-75-TD
    9-143-TD
    5-37-TD
    6-114-0

Over those four games he had:
    27-369-3 TDs

    Extrapolated over a full season:
    108-1476-12 TDs

WRs have a hard time putting up big numbers with quarterbacks that don't throw the ball well.

What came first, the pass or the catch?

I think the quarterback is always more important than the WR. Mason Rudolph was barely throwing the ball down the field to even target WRs. If you're a WR, you have zero chance to put up any numbers.

Of course better WRs make a difference, but a receiver's stats are completely reliant on how often the quarterback targets them and how often they deliver an accurate pass.

There are also other variables. A receiver's stats can be inflated if a QB relies on him too much and targets him constantly. If they play in a system where you throw the ball 45 times a game, the stats are going to be greater.

It would be interesting to see JuJu playing with Duck. I think his production would be much better than it was with Rudolph.

I think JuJu has done enough in the NFL at 22 years old to prove that he is a player IMO. If Ben doesn't go down for the season, and if he doesn't get hurt, he crushes the record for the most receptions and yards ever by a receiver before his 23rd birthday. In my eyes, he is a #1 WR.

Do you believe that JuJu held the quarterbacks down this year and failed as a #1, or do you just think he isn't worth a big chunk of money?
