Bills @ Steelers just got moved to Sunday Night Football.
Nice.
"You've heard people brag about 'being in the zone'. They don't know what the Hell being in the zone is about. I played in the NFL for 15 years and I was only in the zone that one time." - "Mean" Joe Greene on the 1974 playoff victory over Oakland
I swear, I'm going to stop buying the NFL Game Pass. I think I've only watched two maybe three games on it this year. Everything else has been on national TV.
People want to see Duck Hodges vs. Josh Allen on Sunday Night it seems.
The Bills are 9-3, leading the wildcard race and are playing pretty good on defense. Stuck on SNF in Pittsburgh, presumably to make an example of them to see if they're ready for Primetime. What better way to see if you're ready than playing in Pittsburgh on SNF.
What is the lowest scoring game in SNF history. I ask because this game will challenge that
It’s a 5-star matchup cause we in it
I’d LOVE for both teams to wear their color rush uniforms.
Apparently Colts-Saints was the original game
Colts bandwagon emptying fast
Do not get this being flexed but I guess whenever the Steelers are close to competitive they are a ratings magnet - will see what NBC thinks after the game ends up 13-10
Thanks - my mistake
That makes sense - Chargers season is long gone. Only other real candidate to flex was Titans-Texans (Fox likely protected Rams-Cowboys from flex) and while that probably will be a more entertaining game with Watson neither of those teams have the national following of the Steelers
You all complaining about games/times in your area.....think of me- I live about 45 minutes from Cincinnati so EVERY SUNDAY I was stuck with a bunghole game on TV !!!!!! Talking about a F_Cked up Sunday game day, I'd spend it shopping with the wife.....ugh !!
pretty sure the dolphins 3-0 was a Monday nighter.
I enjoy night games. It gives me the entire Sunday to go outside and enjoy the weather in San Diego.
Isn't it Saint Di-a-go - it means a Whales Vagina
and sadly back in 2007 I was at the Mud Bowl...FG was kicked with 17 seconds left in the game
Joey Porter also picked off a Ben pass in his return game to Pittsburgh too
Side note - I believe (I have not looked any of this up) this was also Ben's best game completion % wise in his career somewhere between 82-85%
And yes PT games are awesome especially the SNF one
In addition to AJRII stating previously that night games are not his favorites because many fans do not like the hassle of heading home close to midnight, the flex screws over anyone from out of town not having a season ticket who purchased their tickets for a 1 pm kickoff and planned to drive home after the game.
And I am old enough to remember when the Monday night games in December were scheduled for cities in the South and West to minimize the potential for crap winter weather
But TV calls the shots and fans are just a studio audience
At least in this case it may hold down the number of Bills fans planning to make the drive from Buffalo for the game.
