    Three new Steelers are the key for a better offense.

    Duck stand outs, but the Steelers would be fools if they stop giving the ball to Whyte. In his one game, he looked better ANY Steeler back in the same game. Whyte also brings the big play element we need. I also think Cian, who in one game looked like our best deep threat for the season, beating his man, and catching it deep, then drawing a penalty flag on a sperate play needs at least 4-5 targets a game for the same reason. He has big play ability.

    If you have a defense that produces turnovers as we do and you have an offense that can hit 2-3 big pays over 20 yards, you're going to be tough to beat.

    I for one will be disappointed if the coaching staff doesn't play to Duck's strengths and use these two impressive-looking new at positions that have underachieved.

    I'm good with Snell finishing out a game when we have a lead or on 3rd and short, but honestly I think Whyte is what the offense really needs.

    Or an opponent that wasn't prepared for/ didn't respect them. That goes for Duck as well. They all have tape out there now, so it may be a different story.

    I don't think so. Whyte and Cain bring something the offense doesn't have. Speed. Pretty much every else at RB/WR/TE not named Washington wasn't as lucky last week.

    The pessimistic view:
    Whyte got progressively worse as he got more carries.

    The optimistic view:
    Fichtner ran the same play (with Whyte) six times; by the fourth time, the opposition had figured out how to stop that play. (As in: Whyte has talent that can be exploited to our benefit.)

    Hope Juju comes back next week, would like to see what the offense can do with him back + James Washington balling out like he is. It seems like they could be a legitimate #1 and #2

    Whyte had a 30+ yard return yesterday. I don't think I have seen Switzer or any previous KR in the past 3 or 4 years get one that far lol

    Switzer is done here, and probably done in the league. I guess he could get a few more years in if he goes to Canada.
