This was one I thought they would actually win.

Baker appeared to have Beckham open for a TD when they went for it on 4th down from the Denver 25 down 5 and threw into coverage elsewhere
Announcer then said Beckham has been complaining Baker will not trust throwing to him
The Super Bowl bound Browns right on schedule - to get Freddie Kitchens fired
Denver is a tough place to win even if they are 2-6 now 3-6.
Where is the parade in Cleveland again?

Browns had 5 trips into the redzone and came away with 19 points total. Fichtner may not be all-world but he is definitely better than Kitchens with his starting QB, Landry, Beckham, and Chubb. I think Fichtner would have the Browns at least with a winning record. Just my opinion.
Not so great out of the gate....
At least they're not the Jets who just lost to the Lolphins!
Meanwhile Jermaine Whitehead (whoever he is) has gone AB batshit crazy on Twitter
Add this fuel to the Browns dumpster fire
Some AB level weird behavior by Baker in Denver yesterday
Before Sunday’s game, he walked into the stadium with a beard covering most of his neck and cheeks....
But when he took the field, he had a bewildering Fu Manchu mustache....
And he took the podium for a press conference with just a simple mustache.

One thing's for sure. There are many priorities that come before changing your facial hair look on a gameday. That time and effort should have been going into something else.
This isn't the end of the world. It's not like he went into the tent and shaved his face in between possessions on the sideline, but things are getting more and more bizarre in Cleveland......and their "leader" isn't exactly inspiring with anything he does right now. It all seems to be falling apart.
Is he gonna change his name to Jermaine Crackerhead
Forget the expectations. The Cleveland Browns are once again a hot mess.
Some may want to consider this 2019 fiasco to be more losing for the same old Browns, but you should resist the urge. This isn’t standard Cleveland disappointment. This is something entirely new for the Browns: unprecedented hype; legitimate reason to believe the team would be solid, at least; utter failure with all eyes on them.

I was not sold on Baker as the top pick at the time - but like Marino in the 1983 draft, the Browns were not the only team needing a QB in 2018 that let Jackson drop to the bottom of the first round.
Unlike missing on a classic drop back passer, I will wait a few seasons before concluding the Ravens have a long term great with a running QB
Doesn't have to be weird or strange. There's a simple possibility.
He goes to strap on his helmet, and the chin strap just fits uncomfortably. Maybe it's a new one. Maybe it just isn't fitting like it did. Perhaps it is slipping off too easy. So, he does what he has to and shaves enough of his beard before the game so he can go out and play without it bothering him. After the game, he tightens up the mustache.
I know it's fun to see weirdness in these things. But, I think Occam's razor applies to situations like this. Personally, I can also tell you that where a mask for a C-PAP machine, there are times when I put it on and out of the blue, it's so uncomfortable I can't stand it. I'm too lazy to get out bed and go shave down my goatee (wife would kill me doing it late at night, as well). But the next day, you bet I do so. It's random, too. (And the issue isn't loosing air, it's just how it sits).
The Browns' problems run deeper than mere talent. This is a stacked roster, but they can't operate as a team and are utterly devoid of leadership. There's no culture, no cohesiveness, no stability. It's really the same problem that's plagued them from inception.
That team won't turn around until Jimmy Hazlam is forced to sell it.
"You've heard people brag about 'being in the zone'. They don't know what the Hell being in the zone is about. I played in the NFL for 15 years and I was only in the zone that one time." - "Mean" Joe Greene on the 1974 playoff victory over Oakland
