    Week 9: Indianapolis Colts

The Colts are in a similar situation as the Steelers. The sudden loss of their franchise guy early in the season and replaced by a new starter. Frank Reich and Jacoby Brissett has that team forgetting about Andrew Luck and believing they can win big. 5-2 and on top of the jammed AFC South.

This is a major test for the young Steelers. Indy is pretty good in terms of talent and very well-coached. Reich has pulled that team together and playing winning football. Capable Offense with playmakers like T.Y Hilton and Eric Ebron, and a playmaking Defense with Darius Leonard.

I want to be optimistic, but I think this is the kind of game where the teams' coaching and talent deficiencies are exposed. Rudolph will have to grow up and get it together, and quick. A disastrous start like Miami and the game is over.

    30-14 Colts.

The Colts offense tried really hard to lose at home to Denver. Lucky for them Denver’s offense tried even harder to lose.

    These Colts are overrated.

We score at least one defensive TD.

    27 - 23 Steelers.

    Re: Week 9: Indianapolis Colts

Colts defense stopped Mahomes in KC, offense outscored Texans at home, then team had a letdown after those two big games and probably would have lost at home last week if Denver had not gone into turtle mode with second half lead.

Colts play close games, with no game decided by more than 7 points this year, and Indy is a likely playoff team with a good coach in Frank Reich.

But Adam Vinatieri has finally gotten old - his random misses are like watching Boz kick last year. That eventually should catch up with a team playing close games and I anticipate he will miss at least one kick at Heinz

First real Pittsburgh football weather game of the year with temps in low 40s

    Steelers 24-20

Hilton (calf) & Quenton(hip) questionable. Hilton also had a groin earlier this month. If these two are out there will be a big hole in their offense.

    I like the Steelers 30-27

Too many little mistakes on both sides of the ball to overcome. Injuries and inefficiency final bite the Steelers bad.

Steelers could win this. Colts have only close wins, Steelers have historically dominated the Colts for nearly 5 decades now, Steelers may play up to their record

Fortunately we don’t have to win this one, but if the Off puts on a solid performance this could go either way.

Brissett struggles against the steeler D in Pittsburgh

2nd half Mason shows up and improves on his previous performance against a tough colts D. OL does it’s job at home.

It's gonna be a defensive battle imo, first team to 20 points will win. Steelers 23-17

If they win, this could be a big turning point for the season, it'll give the young team some confidence that they can win against the division leaders in the NFL (other than the Patriots)

I think this has the making of a close game, which will come down to stupid penalties and turnovers. Indy is a ' DOME ' team, so the weather could be an advantage for the Steeler's.

    Colts 24-16.

We lose simply for the fact that Mark Barron was a full participant on Thursday, will get a hat on Sunday, and for some inexplicable reason, actually be allowed to play more than one snap.

Nick Vannett scores an apparent winning TD only to be taken away from Al Riveron-Kraft in the last 15 seconds.

Anybody else looking forward to the Heyward/Hargrave battle with Nelson? Would have been nice if Tuitt had stayed healthy with the season he was working on. May end up being VW/Bush/Barron bringing the middle pressure this week.

    Ebron +/- 10 receptions?

Steelers offense must come out hot this week. Keep up the momentum. Defense must get turnovers. No penalties this game. Steelers win 30-24.

How telling that turned out to be. As it turned out, Heyward absolutely rag-dolled Nelson, walked right into his quarterback and managed to take out the QB's ankle and knee separately. On the same friggin' play.

Ebron only 2 receptions today. AND who in the HELL is Zach Pascal??? Dude balled out and kept the Colts in this game. Otherwise the steelers defense dominated this game.
