None of this is funny.... or amusing. We are witnessing a demise. Personally, I will try to think with a little compassion. This is a destuction of a life. It shouldn't be for entertainment purposes. This, of course, is just my opinion.

It's a demise of his finances. I hope he's broke and robbing hotel rooms soon.

you know who I feel sorry for?

his children, they should be so proud of their Daddy and instead they have to listen to him verbally abuse their mother...

I disagree, as I have explained upstream. AB *needs* this 'demise' to get his life together.

Wow, Rosenhaus dumped him and not the other way around. When that rat jumps off your sinking ship, you REALLY fucked up.

I don't give a SHIT about him as a person. Why should I? If I ever encountered Antonio Brown, most likely he'd shout some racist bullshit at me and tell me to go fuck myself. So he can do the same. Who cares about garbage people like that. It sure as hell ain't my fault, and all the compassion in the world won't help trash like that.

Compassion for AB? You’re a better person than me.
    None of that applies here.
AB’s demise was his own doing.
When someone is so out of touch with reality hitting rock bottom is what they need to wake up.

Yeah, there's a big difference between someone who can't get their life together because they're plagued by demons or vices ... and someone whose problems all stem from treating everybody else like shit because they have a huge ego and are caught up in their own bullshit. Not easy to feel sorry for the second kind.

So we're supposed to feel bad for a guy who is completely out of touch with reality?
we're supposed to feel remorse for a guy who goes out of his way to post a very serious confrontation with police and his former gf about his children where he rants and raves like he's above reproach?

I'm the type of person who believes if you act like an asshole you get treated like an asshole.

I'm glad he's gone from the Steelers but that's just me...

Okay.... I was drinking A LOT of Turkey 101 when I posted that. Compassion was the wrong word to use...lol. I understand how you Steelers fans feel about him. I was excited when the Raiders signed him. I knew from the very minute when he arrived at TC in a hot air baloon what was about to happen...lol.

My opinion is: AB has a mental problem. I don't think he is a bad guy. I think he needs professional help. I don't believe any.......semi rational? person acts or says/does the kind of things he is doing without some kind of "problem" upstairs. Other than Jerry Rice, I have never seen another WR with the skills that AB has. He may even be better than Rice. Unfortunaytely, he is an unperfect human being.... like all of us. He's just more unballanced than most of us. I honestly hope he gets the help he needs at some point, before he offs himself.

It is possible for someone to have serious mental health issues *and* be a bad guy at the same time. I do agree with you on the last sentence, which is why I believe this implosion is necessary for him.

I really hope he gets help. He's not getting better and I'm worried it'll unfortunately lead to death.

Stupid isn't a disease folks.. he was a humble dude until the success went to his head. He thought he was bigger and more important, bet on himself and lost. I've seen better people go through worse hardships. In summation, fuck him.

Que the "AB is a victim, poor guy, I'm a better person than you because I pity the man" crowd

He actually wasn't, though. He admits to behavioral issues going all the way back to 2007, although he (characteristically) blames it on racism. If you believe his estranged family, he's been behaving this way since childhood.

Seems like he's a bad guy who also has a mental problem. If he gets help, great. If he doesn't - fuck him. If your problem is that you're an egomaniac and an asshole to everyone, and the reason you don't get help is also because you're an egomaniac and an asshole, then who cares about you. I don't give a single fuck about your own self-inflicted problems.

Never apologize for having compassion. Watching AB play, seeing his offseason work ethic, just watching how he grew as a player from his rookie season into the best WR in the NFL makes watching this fall a difficult thing to analyze. Every true fan loved watching AB play if only out of respect for what he is able to do on the field. You hear stories that this is how he has been since the beginning and that the public at large is only now seeing the real AB. That fact doesn't make it any easier to watch a respected player disintegrate into a joke and possibly a tragedy. All that said it is true AB has burned all his bridges on his own. He has alienated himself from teammates, organizations, friends, even his own family by his own words and actions. I don't know how this ends but I am not going to wish ill on AB just because he was once a pivotal member of my beloved Steelers and threw that all away. He's still a person that deserves compassion. Why? Because someone first had compassion for me.

These words should probably appear against an all-black screen, in complete silence, for 15 seconds at the start of a porno. It would probably be the most cinematographically acclaimed porno in the history of the industry, like the Saving Private Ryan of porn.

That scene would, of course, be immediately followed by 120 minutes of tattooed, meth-addicted sluts getting drilled right up the ass. But after an intro like that, my faith would be in the director - it would be the most artistic 120 minutes of getting drilled up the ass the world has ever seen. Like if you took some professional black-and-white photos of some chick shoving a 40 bottle up her ass, and then made that into a movie.
