Wonder if kiss ass Brady still offers AB to stay in his house ? I wouldn't unless Brady needs him to help throw out some old furniture.

I think Bill decided to cut AB right after the press conference today. He realized that his immediate future would revolve around the AB circus and he’d had enough.

I doubt his agent wants anymore BS, would be great for that jackass to get blackballed by the league. From what BSPN says, he went from $30m guaranteed, to $9m, to $133k for 2019, lost his helmet sponsorship and his nike sponsorship. He will be broke before the end of the year (if he stays unemployed) because I doubt he paid any of his houses or cars off.

Was funny hearing Drew saying AB just wants to play football and looking forward to his next team. Same shit but doubt anyone buys it this time. Drew has been the biggest scumbag agent for the last 20 years. Him and AB deserve each other. AB is even bringing him down lol.

AB deserves all this but at the same time it's sad seeing him self destruct.
Also, if he never plays again I'm not sure he's gets in the HOF, which would be a shame because his "talents" deserve a gold jacket, one of the best ever.

I’m old enough to remember when AB was a Raider...

AB will eventually be seen in the same light as Santonio and Wallace. A fan favorite that became the punchline for a million Steelers WR jokes.

Good point - Steelers have a history of drafting a number excellent receivers over the past 20 years.
But of those regarded as the #1 level receiver on a team only Hines Ward had a full career arc while Plaxico Burress, Wallace (who fell short because he was a one trick pony rather than off the field screwups), Santonio, and by far the best of them all (AB) flamed out at some point for non-injury related reasons

Holmes was a douchebag after he was named Superbowl MVP and was shipped out of town. In recent years, though, he seems to have changed and is a better person from all accounts. He's loyal to Ben and the Steelers, and in my book, that makes him one of the greats.
AB has taken it to a whole other level......he had it all but wanted more. He could have retired being the greatest Steeler WR ever, beloved by the fans, held records galore, 1st ballot HOFer.
He blew it. Someday, I hope he realizes it.

In hindsight, I guess Wallace wasn't even a real asshole by comparison, he just wanted more money than was reasonable, and he wanted to play somewhere else. He just played out his deal and left, which the others didn't even manage. Not that I have any great respect for the guy, he just wasn't the absolute worst garbage human like the others.

I can't decide which scenario I would enjoy more.......AB not getting paid or the Patriots* getting the shaft and having to pay AB.

The whole thing is just sad. I wish the best for him. I honestly don't think he can control his life at this point. Making fun of him and ridiculing him is just out the window at this point. He needs help. I hope he gets/finds it.
Most of us understand that he probably doesn't think he needs help. Most of us also KNOW he needs help. I'm done making fun of him. He needs help.... and I hope he finds it.

This.
I can't remember ever watching such a public, or private even, display of self-destruction quite like this. He just keeps going back for more. If he had just shut up this week he would most likely be playing against the Jets today, and even if the NFL front office put him on the exempt list down the road he would have still gotten paid.

The cheats and his agent created this monster by directing his moves to get him kicked off of other teams so he could join them. As AB said it was in his plans the whole time obviously he knew from day one he was going to be a cheatriot. It isn't like they needed him either they just wanted to find a way to get him off the Steelers. They destroyed him in the process and I doubt they shed a single tear in the process. Go to Hell and his crew should be ashamed that they let this shit happen on their watch without lifting a finger. AB may be a douche for letting it happen but the devil was on his shoulder whispering to him the whole way. To bad the press doesn't have the balls to call either the team nor the NFL out on their actions or lack thereof.
