Le’Veon Bell. Off to a HUGE start

Anybody wonder what's going thru Bell's mind right now as ducks and weaves and tries not to get run over behind that awesome Jet's O-line? 17 carries for a massive 65 yards today against the mighty Buffalo Bills....lol

But he got about $3-5 million extra in guaranteed money so he's good, LOL

I think he wanted the Guarantee money and will retire after this season. His heart ain't in it and reminds me of Mendy's personality.

17 carries for 60 yards (per NFL Network) is 3.5 yards per carry. 6 Receptions for 32 yards (per NFL Network) is 5.3 yards per reception. That's 23 touches for 92 yards comes to 4 yards per touch. Bell has never been the big play guy, always that steady guy you can trust to move the ball forward. Not a bad day. Maybe not spectacular but definitely not a bad day for Bell. It's only week 1.

3.5 ypc is pretty good considering it's week 1 and how long it's been since he's played a game

Exactly. By season's end he should easily be at 3.9.

I knew something was fishy when he was unwilling to bet on himself and take the steelers deal. he needed all that guaranteed money probably because he was expecting to be out of football in a year or 2. wouldnt be surprised if he pulls a mendenhall and pursues a rap career from there

Averages 12.4 games a season, was gone for a full year and Gase plays him 100% of the snaps? Poor coaching on one hand. Second hand, Bell is what Bell is. He’s a great player but he misses time for one thing or another.

I don’t know man...watching him play tonight and he’s a really fun RB to watch play. Conner is good and I really like him but I’ll go with the unpopular opinion around here, he’s not Le’Veon Bell good.

Yeah, leaving two women in his house unattended with hundred thousands of dollars in valuables solved that mystery

Well seeing as he was turning 1 yard losses into 3.5 yard gains a carry, I'd say yes, we miss him. How is Conner doing so far? I have hope for the kid, but he's not Bell-good. Doesn't matter how much we dislike him, disputing what he did for the Steelers when he was in the game is just silly.

I hate what he did to leave here, but the dude can play. He makes as many head-shaking 6 or 7 yard runs as anybody I have ever watched play. He just has a way...

They are gonna kill Bell before he gets through that contract...

More money and a safer situation in Pittsburgh and he let it all go...and he’d be the premiere guy here now that the other douchebag is in court most of the day...

I don't care honestly, he made his bed and now has to live with his decision. Sure we're 0-2 also, but you can easily say that the Jets team is hopeless, and we're going to end up winning more games this season. He threw away a chance at greatness for a quick buck in NY. He's gonna rot behind a perennial suckfest with the Jets and I'll love it.

I'm glad he's learning the harsh truth maybe that RBs aren't the difference maker to demand all that money. He's a great RB no doubt, but how many games are they gonna win because of him this year? Not enough. Saquon Barkley is probably the best RB now, how many wins did the Giants get last year? There's a reason why franchises usually side with their QBs

Bell will never sniff the HoF now unless he buys a ticket.
