Was Bill Belichick, previously known as the master of Spygate and Deflategate, behind the whole Crazygate?
An absolutely insane 48 hours that included wire-tapped phone calls, Instagram wars and the release of Antonio Brown by the Raiders, ended Saturday with Brown signing a one-year deal with the New England Patriots. The contract was reportedly worth $15 million with $9 million guaranteed. Not exactly the kind of deal that gets pulled together in the amount of time it takes to watch a feature film.
And what a feature its been. Brown, who acted crazy enough that even the Raiders couldn’t tolerate him anymore, just got picked up by the NFL’s reigning dynasty. To play with the greatest quarterback in the league. And maybe win a Super Bowl ring.
