This, from a previous thread, was my response a month ago. Since then, he's missed one kick. A long one that pushed off just a bit. Then, he came back and nailed a few more.
Right now, confidence level is about a 7.5 out of 10. That's really high for me right now. He'll have to go through the rest of the season 100 percent on extra points and easy to medium hard field-goals (say, 45 yards or less).
He has been great so far this season.
Glad to see his comeback so far this season
Still waiting for an inside 2 minutes kick to tie or win a game to be confident he is all the way back.
Those were the ones he consistently made in 2017 and was missing in 2018
Confidence level 7/10 after being at zero by last November
I'm about an 8. I still some of his kicks slicing right a bit, where you'll see him try to compensate to the left on the following kick. That little bit of tailing motion still puts me on edge a bit.
If you look at Justin Tucker, his kicks are ramrod straight. Every time. In Boz's defense, the 51-yarder he drilled at the end of the first half looked like a Tucker kick. Dead-straight, zero tailing motion, bisected the uprights.
We are good at two things: making splash plays on defense and kicking field goals.
In Boswell I trust.
If we had this version of him last year we’d have been a Super Bowl contender.
100% in making field goals inside of 45 yards. Yes he was awful last season, but to pull a quote from a movie, he can be my wing man anytime.
I wish he was bit better on kickoffs and had slightly more range, but he's back to being a top kicker.
